What reason is there for Contamination not buffing zombies?
I don't really understand. What is the mechanic behind contamination if it doesn't accelerate zombies? I understand it makes them occasionally cough, nemesis can damage with tentacle, and they will look like a mutated smurf (most survivors wear neon bright cosmetics anyway), but I honestly don't understand why it doesn't buff the zombies even further. It could be reducing flashlight stun, reducing spawn time, faster movement speed, better alert range, anything really, maybe an additional zombie for infecting everyone?

Additional zombie is not possible i think. They said it killed game for old gens. But other suggestions are possible and maybe we will see some love for Nemmy or his zombies, who knows.

I would love if zombies have ""wallhacks"" in short/mid range against infected survivors.
(Also if a zombie somehow hits gives you stacks of mutation)

Zombies should also loose colition once they hit you, like killer does, I dont understand the point of making them as a wall and thats a problem in some indoor maps like RPD or Midwich

I main nemesis and Jill, and I can say on both sides the zombies are weak as far as helping with injuries/downing survivors. The only thing the zombies are good for is information (survivors general location) and getting stuck on a rock, or ya know, nothing at all. Flashlighting zombies is fun, so please leave that alone. Either an additional zombie, or better tracking skill for my friends would be appreciated though, and something to help with early game. Honestly, I'd even be happy with the tenticle breaking pallets with no mutation stacks, but still has the shorter reach. I won't even go into his sad addons, but give my man some love please!

Good idea.

It's been 2 years. Don't you think they made some improvements by now?

They've been slowly shadowbuffing the zombies over time as they've gotten better at programming AI.
They're still not great but better than they used to be but as for something more dramatic I don't think there's much they can do seeing as it'd probably turn into another knight situation and people would probably just complain about AI killer assistance.
I'd be all for them giving Nemesis way more buffs though like atp just give Nemmy killer instinct when a zombie detects a survivor so he can go take advantage of it. I know the zombies have their arms up already when that happens but that extremely unreliable information.
