Chucky is one of the best killers ever
Fun to go against. Fun to play as.
This killer is seriously brought fun back for me.
I am really glad BHVR is trying to do different type killers. 3 amazing killers in row. Larry, Xeno and now Chucky. I am hoping this trend continues like that.
Now just delete SM and we all are good.

I'm not sure if he is fun to play against, but definitely fun to play as.=)

He definitely has some mindgame potential which can be fun. The only question is whether he has enough counterplay or not in the end. Too early to say, though my guess is that he has enough counterplay.

I only hated Hard Hat add-on which break pallets. This just removes skill from him but except that, i really enjoyed against him.
I'd play him more but killer queues are killing me. My only problem is that right now...

I dont see where that little puppet is fun to play against. Just another shrimp Blight.

I can't say it's fun to play as I'm not buying it.
But I can't say it's terrible to play versus; visually great, very catchy one-liners, but animation are a bit meh and it smells p2w.
Chucky is just broken and I've yet to see a game where the gates where powered up. In like 20 games he always gets 3x pr 4x kills and the best I saw was 4 gens... but hey, they TESTED it.

I played only three games today because it was that bad. I couldn't do anything. I mean prior to this at least I could get some gens done before being tunneled out but this is ridiculous. People will buy just because it's Chucky but no one will play survivor.

I think you're forgetting that Chucky is completely unique in regards to his size and being able to corner check survivors. People will struggle with his size alone when it comes to tracking and he has a decent dash on top of that. Is he OP? I very much doubt it and I also heavily doubt he's on the same level as Blight or Nurse who can murder teams 5 minutes into the game.

It's a little small minded to instantly compare him to another killer, especially when his power is nothing like Blights.
2 -
hard-hat add-on nerf his power. he is likely too oppressive for majority of survivors so I would not be surprised if he get nerfed.

nurse has an heavy penalty to her teleport
blight has to bounce and some maps are pretty nasty with obstacles
chucky? no terror radius + footsteps deception + anti-pallet + charge to cover distance, has he some drawbacks for all those powers? I can't see any, so you get all bonus and no malus

Well, he actually has a pretty long cooldown to his power (20 sec)... Besides you (survivor) can dodge his charge.
Even tho it's incredibly hard to do against a good Chucky player.

1st match: hard tunneled through DS.
2nd match: teammate hard tunneled through DS, then me hard tunneled through DS.
"Anti-tunnel" perk feels good when a second after you use it, the killer vaults a pallet and uber-coup-de-gras lunges you down again.
Note that I don't aggressively body block or run to the killer to activate DS. Hard tunneling killers will love this chapter...

You do realize that the killer is new and that many need to adapt to him?
Calling him broken is a bit of a stretch.
3 -
He's 4.4 with no map mobility. That's the downside.
2 -
Calling him a normal (fun for both sides) is a bit of a stretch as well.=)
I only see people saying that he's fun to play against because of his voice lines. xD
It's like saying: - "Nurse is fun to play against, because you can spank her from behind while she is in the fatigue".

I found him having a lot of Mindgame potential for both sides when using slice and dice. Kinda like against a good Hillbilly. Mindgaming and outplaying a power is the most fun part of survivor in chase. At least for me. The only thing I dislike about chucky is using Stealth in loops just to get free hits with m1. Other than that, I dont see the problem.

He is 110%. That's a drawback.

I would say he resembles Oni more, with his dash being very similar. And Oni has counterplay as well.
There are definitely some interesting mind games possible, but it's too early to say whether Chucky has enough counterplay or not.

tbh this is the first time I'm seeing people saying he's unfun to verse. PTB he seemed to have overwhelmingly positive post but I guess I missed the other side. (Yes - I saw the post about what should be toned down - Reception was still positive in those threads)
Personally - I love playing against this killer and as him. Definitely fills that void for another chase / mind game killer.

Gotta agree. I say exactly the same thing when killers complain immediately that a new killer is too weak just because they're not winning their games within a few hours of release. Some killers take time to learn to efficiently counter just like some killers might take longer to learn to efficiently play. People need to give at least a week for the devs to make proper assessments.

True.

Unloopable killer? Survivors literally have wall hacks against him...
1 -
Long cooldown, 110% speed and no mobility are your drawbacks.
And pre-dropping pallet and making him guess game is also your counterplay.
I speak for myself tho?

Who is Larry?

Larry's the Singularity.
Hey, you peeps wanted DS back, that's just the good old regular DS baggage.

I've seen him using is power and you might be wrong on the long cd
110% and no mobility you say, SO how come that he ends chases in 30 seconds or less? does that seems balanced to you? Nurse or Huntress had to get extremely lucky or train a lot of hours to be that strong. Chucky is already like this in what? 2 hours from release?
