Blindness Needs a Rework
This status is either next to useless against SWF or just straight up broken against solo queue. You can lump perks like Knock Out in here too. It robs solo of crucial game info and negates any aura perks to help your team like Kindred. Meanwhile in a SWF you can just tell your team where you’re at with no problem. The only somewhat balanced thing it’s used for is countering WoO, but really is that worth all the problems? I hope this status is next in line after devs finish the Mangled changes. But i’m not sure how it can be reworked, any ideas?

My idea was to have something similar to this screenshot, just to a lesser extent if needed. You would still be able to see auras so I feel like it would even out.

You wrote it negates any aura perks to help your team like Kindred. Umm that's kind of the point of the perk. You as a killer are trying to hinder the teamwork of survivors by "blinding" them. How is that any different than survivor perks showing where the killer is.

I’m not saying that Blindness is OP, Im saying it’s poorly designed. The last thing solo queue needs is a status that disables teamplay when there is already so little of it. And again, this has little to know effect on SWF, the group of players that actually use teamplay.

I dont mind it current ststus as long is somewhat easy to apply.
Lets say.
Knight addon: If a guard chase you, you are blinded 60 seconds.
1 minute just to be spotted its at least decent.
Alien addon: Blind 20ish seconds(dont remember exact number) survivors close to a turret that you are destroying.
This to me is not decent.
But yeah it could have a little more to it.

I would like if blindness also hides the killer things auras, then it would be more useful too for some killers. It wouldn‘t make it strong besides of UW and the third seal, which is a boon, the status effect isn‘t long.

I think blindness should last at least 60 seconds. Make it harder in to apply in some cases.

When it comes to blindness, while in some cases it can be strong, the status itself is usually short lived. Most ways to apply Blindness is through the use of Addons for the killer. Even then, while it blocks the auras of other survivors and objectives, it doesn't block the more important objectives like PH Box or Pig Boxes.
It can be frustrating to go against, but the status itself doesn't hinder your ability to run in a chase or do gens.

Yep when it would hide every aura it would be useful. Pig boxes, xeno turrets, pinhead box etc

My question is why locker blindness?
It was put in the game back when Object of Obsession was strong as, and the survivor could hide their aura with the locker while still seeing and calling out the killer's location to teammates. Object of Obsession has been nerfed since then.
Meanwhile, killers like Alien and Demogorgon can see auras while underground, so the argument that "oh, well survivors have limited view because they're INSIDE a locker" does not work.

True, when it used to hide Killer Items from survivors it was way too strong. But that hasn't been the case for a while.
Now that it's mentioned, I think the reason Survivors get blindness inside a locker is because the Killer can't see that survivor's aura, so the reverse is true too.

Stop thinking only against SwF, do not forget Solo-Q exist. Perks like UW are exteremely breaking the Solo-Q, why would you make it even more stronger?
