Can someone tell me how the new banners work?

Just curious as I have none and don't know how to get them.

    Right now, only one set of banner & profile picture is available, by purchasing any of the Chucky cosmetics (just owning the DLC is not enough).

    The Advent Calendar shown below has one profile picture and one banner in it, which can be claimed by logging in any time from Dec 8 and Dec 22 respectively, until Jan 3.

    The upcoming Bone Chill event, which starts on Dec 14, will also feature banners and pfps as rewards for completing challenges.
