Is there any plan to offer a counter to Killer Instinct? It really is overpowered from both a killer and survivor point of view as there is no way to avoid it

    Killer's Instinct is incredibly niche and I honestly dont see it being changed since not many Killer have it and the ones that do have limitations and restrictions to it.

    In example:

    • Legion can use Feral Frenzy to get Killer's Instinct, the restriction is that it is based on the Terror Radius and limits a lot of perks that can be used due to it's anti-synergy.
    • When (Twins) Victor is idle, nearby Survivors are revealed with Killer's Instinct, but crouching removes that detection.
    • Demogorgan only gets it for Active Portals, meaning you have to activate it. Also it only applies to Survivors nearby a Portal when your Shred is charged, requiring a lot of work just to only get the affect in a small radius.
    • Etc.

    The only killer that uses killer instinct in a way that's mostly unavoidable and can get annoying is Legion. Unless you're oblivious (which can only be applied by the killer as there's no way to put yourself into oblivious) Legion will know if you're inside his tr after someone is hit in feral frenzy (which are very easy hits due to vaulting and killer instinct and additional speed. Though mitigating this issue would require Legion to be reworked.

    Everyone else has fair restrictions on when and how they detect you.

    It's a killer power that is overall very niche - the biggest users of it are Legion, Dredge and Skull Merchant. Adding a way to counter it would fail to deliver on being a perk worth actually bringing into a match, and a basekit opportunity to counter it exists within each of these killers' powers - spreading out, for Legion and Dredge, and avoiding getting scanned, for Skull Merchant.

    i think the only way i could see killer instinct as being "overpowered" is on the "dried cherry blossom" addon of spirit but that's an addon issue and not really a killer instinct issue
