Dear bHVR, You gotta make 2v8 extra gamemode happen at somepoint.
This may just be me, my estimation about how things are blowing these days...
I feel like the mood is that everyone expects 2v8 to become a reality as some point? Right?
Like is there anyone who dont expect bHVR to do this? Like other than imagining up some new objective, which would maybe be hit or miss. But adding twice the number of players to the map seem like the safest option.
Though it might be more technical demanding.

I imagine when you start searching, you pick what modes you sign up for and then its just first come first serve.

Na. I don't think anybody is really expecting it. Game base is never big enough to allow for extra game modes. I wouldn't want them to add anything that effects que times.

I would rather see a game mode that’s not just a copy paste of the current one with more players in it and would actually make things interesting and different 🤷♂️

If most people think that half an hour of waiting for each game mode is acceptable to play, and just play 5 minutes.

extactly more modes will DESTROY wait times so new modes being in the same pool would be a good thing.
which is why I think 2vs8 is the least problematic of all modes.

I have no idea why some people want that so bad. Here are two very good reasons we should never have that in DBD:
- The ballancing will be a nightmare. It actually is close to impossible and will take years that we even have anything close to playable. Wasting those resources on a mode that might be fun for a little while is not worth it. I mean just look at the game right now. 1v4 took years to be even slightly ballanced and many argue it is still far from fair. You can not simple put 2 killers and 8 survivors in a realm. Maps have to be changed completly, perks and powers have to be changed, simply everything needs a rework.
- This will devide the playerbase. Some will stay in normal mode, some will play 2v8. That will have serious impact on matchmaking overall. Both modes will have very long queue times, less fair matchmaking and so on.
So to answer the question: I dont think so, and i hope it wont become reality. For the sake of the game.

It really doesn't. People think that it be a great idea, but with the problems people have as a 1v4 those issue should be quadrupled a 2v8.

can we maybe not continue to complicate the game with a second gamemode when its difficult enough seeing needed changes in the one we have?
