Because of the anti face-camping mechanic you can't carry multiple survivor to the basement without the "camp meter" filling up resulting in survivors escaping when you try to hook more than one person in basement which defeats the hole reason basement exists in my opinion. Was this intentional or an overlooked situation?

You can absolutely hook multiple survivors in the basement. The meter is "disabled" when the killer is carrying a survivor within the hook radius for this exact reason. So as long as you aren't lingering in the basement for a long amount of time after hooking this shouldn't be an issue.

Coulda swore any survivor near a hooked survivor stops the progress bar weather they are slugged or carried and the killer is in their face. Ive been able to hook multiple survivors in basement easily, it only moves if you stay there standing above them in the building. Even gives you a grace period to get away from the basement building before it starts moving again

i see i guess that could also have been the reason i was chasing survivor around shack before i thought that was far enough away also i think it only slows the progress bar down i think but i didn't know that "The meter is "disabled" when the killer is carrying a survivor within the hook radius" thanks for enlightening me
