They create an event to absolutely just meme, no gameplay advantage of any kind for one side over the other and yet some people find a way to complain. Thought that Halloween and Anniversary events were problematic due to the implementation of gameplay mechanics… What is the issue with Jimmy and Timmy throwing snowballs? Isn’t that time they waste and don’t do gens? Free pressure mate. I thought that’s what y’all were craving

I had someone deny me tier 3 as Myers’s today by going in a snowman and I couldnt’ stalk it so I hit them and gave them a speed boost. It was pretty funny. Honestly it’s just to meme and have fun

Its one of the best events ever added. It's a fair event and theres no advantage/ disadvantage for any side

It’s pretty much what people were asking for in an event.. some fun and memey stuff additionally to normal gameplay, no side favored over the other, earnable cosmetics in event tome and with extra currency… but people just like to complain as well so…
i would have preferred snowballs to be thrown with a short animation at least survivors, I mean.. we have the pebble animation right there? But i understand that the current implementation makes sense as it’s possible during chase without interruption.

It just adds cute little snowballs. This is the safest event they could've ever added.
I preferred when it mixed up gameplay a little more - Twisted Masquerade this year was really fun for instance, but as far as events go this is fine.

the winter event didnt readd blighted serum to the game. if you ran into a speed hacker, report them?

There's no gameplay advantage to play survivor during event... it's just snowballs and snowmen, of which both sides can use and snowballs do nothing and snowmen are essentially lockers but killers can also use them.

unless they have a source of haste in their build, they are cheating, and based on how often I run into cheaters, you are potentially misinterpreting survivor haste?
this event adds no new sources of haste. the snowmen hinder, the snowballs are a cute gimmick that do nothing, and firecrackers are flashbangs.

then so many cheaters and bhvr does nothing with it. Played with survivors - a lot of cheaters on killers. The most epic case is when a killer killed last surv and rushed directly to my locker from the oppoite map corner while I was all the time in this locker and he didn't even have BBQ

Had someone do a similar thing to me as Ghostface. They were 99'd and so they spent the rest of the time slowly trying to escape as a snowman. It was really funny.
If you don't want to give them a speed boost though I'm pretty sure you can just throw a snowball at it to get rid of it.
