Does someone know if the devs are working towards something so that survivors don't get hit with an impossible skill check when ever they let go off a generator? I need something to compansate for my lack of skill 🤗

Nothing officially stated about them. I tried to get an answer on the Ask Me Anything’s on Reddit but the question didn’t get any answer

as of now you have to treat it as intentional game design - letting go off a gen (or heal) may result in a failed check and you should plan to let go sooner or not at all i guess. I do think it’s just frustrating…

I often get a skill check when I take my hand off the generator and it explodes, but is that just luck? Because it happens too often (Toririn-san)

You're right, it's bad luck! Skill checks are completely independent from other systems, except for those that manipulate the timing and probability of occurrences of perks, etc. However, we are looking into ways to improve the frustration caused by skill checks occurring at the exact moment you release your hand. I can't give you any details today, though.
