Blight needs more than just Addon nerfs.

Even with 0 addons he's still an overpowered Killer and I have no idea how he's existed this long in his current state. His addons are all disgustingly OP yes, but even just his base kit is unfair, why does the most mobile killer in the entire game have 4.6 MS? THAT MAKES NO SENSE. Why can the most mobile Killer in the game break Pallets with his power? Why does his power recharge so quickly? Addons only amplify how unfair of a killer he is, and the only reason he's second strongest is because Nurse is literally just playing with NoClip enabled. He's insanely oppressive and it also doesn't help that he can just instantly zoom back to a hook to hard tunnel someone which seems to be all Blight players know how to do.

He should be 4.4 and remove his ability to break pallets with his power, it doesn't make any sense why he can do that anyway, either that or at least make it consume all his rush tokens or something. But he 100% needs to be 4.4. There's no way you can justify a Killer with his amount of mobility being 4.6.

You really want him beyond useless...

I consider him quite fun to play against, so his addons are only issue for me.

I don't want him to be useless I want him to actually have to use his power at loops instead of just being able to zoom across the map for free and then chase like a normal M1 killer despite having one of the strongest powers in the game.

Most loops would be terrible for him without pallet breaking.

You are just trying to make Billy 2.0. One of hardest killers, but when power level doesn't match the difficulty, it's not worth it.

No they would not, if that were the case then Wesker would be weak at loops since his ability to vault them is way weaker than breaking them since the cooldown is super long and slows you down. Also Billy is infinitely harder than Blight the two aren't even comparable, Blight is pretty easy even to just pick up.

Blight's skill floor is managable only because he is 115%, so even if you are not godlike, you can play loops like normal killer. That wouldn't be the case as 110%. Even worse without pallet breaking. His skill ceiling is one of highest in DBD.

Wesker doesn't need anything to bounce from, his power is way easier to use. Vaulting is worse than pallet break, but it's definetly not useless part of his power. He also has infections on top of it all.

    That's not really true.

Spirit and Hag are 110% for example.

I think he is even with his addons fine. He is really fun to go against, but that’s just me. I also consider nurse fun to face.

Spirit was to balance out her previous effects of being very hard to track on top of powerful addons. What's worse than a killer moving 10m/s that you can see, one that you can't. Invisible window vaulting, passive phasing, no blinding at pallets, bad to no information, spirits 110 was to balance the real lack of any counterplay because of her not being visible most of the time on top of the fact she used to be much easier to use with bumping into survivors while phasing and stronger post phase speedboost (flat instead of decreasing over time).

Hag has the strongest traps in the game and a decent set of addons to boot, if she was 115 that really wouldn't make sense since she like nurse can be everywhere at once the only difference is they have to trigger a trap (or you have to have mint rag) and due to it being "invisible" most of the time because the traps are hard to see and with a good hag hard to predict you can see why she is 110. Default chase on top of that would be too much.

The visibility of a killer is a secondary to why their movement speed might be slower, but blight is real and you can see him so he gets the 115 pass

Just nerf add ons and fix mmr. Then I think you won't feel so helpless tbh

    Understandable

Don't take me wrong, I really don't think basekit of Blight needs to be nerfed. Neither pallet breaking, or basic speed.

I consider his addons only issue. If you rework speed addons, Alchemist's Ring and Compound Thirty-Three, then I really don't have an issue with Blight.

I consider his quite fun to play against...

"Why is the most mobile killer 4.6."

Allow me to name other mobile 4.6 killers

Billy, Dredge, Demo, Wesker, Sadako, Xeno, and Wraith.

Billy and Wraith in particular have been here since day 1, with Wraith having stealth and Billy having a faster pallet break AND insta down.

Blight is stronger than both, no question. But him being mobile doesn't excuse making him 4.4.

"billy is infinitely hard than blight"

    Aight, point invalidated.

Billy might be more mechanically challenging but blight has the highest skill ceiling in the game and it's not even a tiny bit close.

Is billy being clunky and mid tier at best a detriment when people pick him up? Yes. Can you literally play blight just for mobility around the map? Yes. But why not play many other killers who have a tp and actually do that better than him?

I don't think you truly grasp how much weaker blight would be if he couldn't break pallets in a rush.

Also you make him 4.6 and I does to make me weaker, it only makes the many many mid to trash tier blights worse off.

4.4 might be a fair nerf, but it will make him inaccessible even more to average players. His power is too buggy/inconsistent on maps.

Beyond add-ons being changed up only hug tech should be removed and his collisions fixed so he can bump properly and not slide of off something like it's made of butter.

Making him 4.4 m/s would be such an unnecessary nerf.

Like that will ever happen there is a reason the magic hug tech nerf has never come along it probably changed how his power works so much that it wasn't worth pushing through yet
