Difficulty spike

My matches as killer have been incredibly difficult the past few days. P100 survivors every lobby, cracked survivors juicing me and removing my ankles. And look i completely get that its normal to suck especially when i dont run Meta .I'm used to this every 5 or so games but this has been an ongoing match after match. I feel drained...I want to know if something internally. If mmr has been cranked to maximum overdrive or something.

They increased the soft cap last month which means matchmaking may be more precise.

Personally, my experience has been similar as yours. Survivors playing near perfectly every match. Haven't been playing the game as much because i've been finding it exhausting too.

Just you. I'm still winning every match with complete ease. I even made a thread complaining about how easy it was. https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/401641/matchmaking-is-too-easy-for-killer#latest

There's very little middle ground in playstyle, and you get booted to super survivor lobbies very fast

Not everybody wants to play a brain dead slow down build. Some of us actually like to try to play the game. there is no Esports in this game, play for fun.

Matchmaking in this game leaves alot to be desired, but in general if you win alot then your games are supposed to get harder (per a dev). I would assume that if you're losing alot then eventually you'll settle at an MMR where your opponents are more on your level. I say assume because who knows anymore.

I've personally had a better match making experience lately. More close 2K / 3K games (1 gen left) as Killer and better teammates / more escapes as Survivor. It should eventually settle into better match ups for you.

But knowing how unpredictable and capricious the system can be, I wouldn't be surprised if next week is full of the sweatiest Blights, Onis and Nurses going up against a lobby of 20 hour Self-Caring Claudettes hiding in bushes.

Edit: If you're wondering, I was right! I guess I must have jinxed myself.

There are currently 115 killer perks. Using the same 4 each match sounds boring. I know I'm going to lose majority of the time but what I'm not expecting is how difficult it is to even get 1 hook before 3 to 4 gens pop. Even when leaving chases that get too long and patroling gens. It feels pointless unless you have meta or play dirty
