Hot take: buffing deja vu would’ve been a decent 3 gen solution.
buffing deja vu to make it a more appealing perk wouldve been a relatively easy fix to 3 gen issues. if more people used the perk and actively attacked close proximity gens from the start of the game, there’d be very little opportunity for a hostage end game situation.
im no expert by any means when it comes to this stuff, but i think increasing the speed boost to 10% and making it stack with other people running deja vu on the same gen would’ve been pretty solid.
it’s a much simpler solution to 3 gen scenarios. the new update is so messy and disorganized and convoluted. i don’t know why they had to take the complicated route by introducing something new and restrictive, when there seems so be so many easier ways (aside from my own idea!) to attempt tackling the issue.

While I dont think that the BHVR-Change is really helpful, your solution would also not really be good.
First of all, bringing Perks to counter specific things is always bad. And second, it would not prevent Killers from just guarding a 3-Gen from the beginning, because the Survivor might have a Repair Buff on those Gens, but if they cannot repair them, the Buff does not do anything.

I really think that Deja Vu just by seeing the aura of the 3 closest gens is an already strong enough effect - i don't think it needs the 5% faster gen progression.
I don't like when solution to a problem revolves around perks.

I am just gonna say no. Dejavu is already one of the top used perks and 6% is more than most other repair speeds. There is 0 reason why it should give the same bonus as Prove thyself or overzealous which both have additional conditions.

3 gens are usually a skill issue anyway. A bare minimum of map knowledge is gen spawns, not the specific areas but the general area

Run this perk or lose is never a good idea

Bringing perks to fix the game is always the worst choice, even though the new mechanic is stupid in so many ways.

But if that is the case then why are there so many other things in the game that work this way. Map offerings and a sac ward, doctor vs calm spirit, plot twist and deerstalker, lightborne and flashlights. The list can keep going. There are a ton of things in the game that it would be "too late" by the time you realize a thing happens to change your loadout. And so many perks that are so niche that they counter one specific thing the other side does that might not be that common.
