we need prestige rewards 100
I took the trickster to 100 and I received nothing for investing millions of BP while in other free to play games like Phasmo Phobia you get cosmetics for leveling up to the maximum.
We don't even ask for whole cosmetics that give us some effect that applies to all the cosmetics in the game like the Halloween void effect. I would even accept blood skin for the assassins' powers. Of course I would like my trickster knives to have the prestige effect

Given the new banner system, something similar to the legacy portraits would be nice.

They've said before that they intended P100 to just be a personal goal. IIRC they felt if they attached a reward to it then it gives the playerbase the idea that it's a required achievement.

I don't think there should be a reward for P100, but I don't really understand this argument.
Some players never bothered to go all the way to P3 and that actually gave you a reward. I wonder why would they think P100 is any different.

They knew there was no reward for it but they are asking change for it and that's how forum works? If you are unhappy about something, you can suggest changes. And Op just did that.

It's not that. It's the constant I did something reward me mentality. No one is twisting your arm to dump all bloodpoints into one chatacter. How about those players made just as much bp but that spread them across multiple characters? Are they less worthy?
To put it mildly, this prestige system is automatic and doesn't take anything special to do. You must prestige to continue buying addons or items. This isn't the old system where you give up entire inventories and start from 0. Even in that system you have these types that thought bloody cosmetics weren't enough.
If the P100 badge wasn't enough then why did you do it?

The cosmetics weren't worth losing everything for many. It didn't become a big deal until they anounced the new system that many grinded to P3.
It's the risk of giving something that everyone would want to have. Something that casual players would feel was unattainable to them. The flip side, if the Devs do give something that's inconsequential you will have those like OP that demand more. Just like the P3 days where some wanted more than bloody cosmetics.

Still unhappy that my first prestige cost me my last Splinter, that I'll tell ya.
I don't think this change should have been implemented, to be honest. Keeping your stuff and unlocking perks for everyone is okay, but forcing a journey to P100? That is way too much.
Every killer that plays consistently will reach P100 eventually, it is merely a matter of time, because otherwise they can't get more add-ons. I don't think this is okay.

But them saying it would be FOMO if they did it, and then continue selling time exclusive AC only cosmetics changed my mind. I hate hypocrisy.

Yeah, I don't care either way what they choose to do. If enough people request a reward they might change their mind.
I would imagine because if someone one day made the choice to go to P3 it wouldn't take much effort to achieve, hence the reward would be easily attainable. There's a far larger effort involved for P100 and some may see it as unattainable. That's obviously only my assumption anyway.

Nah, P100 is 100% totaly optional and totaly waste of your time and BP unless you have literaly no point or goal to use BP and just want to drop it on your fav character.
Once you add some rewards, some people will feel the need to unlock it / unlock it all and they will just spend BP into worthless thing. We don't need to add a layer of motivation for it either. Same if they add achievement that requires you to unlock prestige 100 on someone just for some people wanting to 100% the game. It's totaly pointless and just waste of time.
You don't have to get "reward" for spending and wasting bilions into one character(s).

Just to be clear, I'm not advocating for them changing the current system to remove inventory. I'm not asking for any changes to the current system.

The cosmetics maybe time locked but not forever. There is a difference that is often repercentative that they are gone forever. Worst case, you wait a year and figured you really didn't want those cosmetics in the first place and spend your money elsewhere.

P100 is a badge of honor to show the players you've played with or gone against that you're dedicated to that certain character. It's simple as that, just a badge of honor. It's not something that should be rewarded, rather something to be proud of for obtaining.

Needless to mention you're also already rewarded with a crapton of add-ons and offerings and by the time you've reached P100 you basically have an unlimited supply of all add-ons for the character.

They are not. At least not the early ones:
We still have no information if we ever see those in the shop.
Additionally there are some single or double piece cosmetics which were part of the early rifts which were also never added to the store.

Regardless, my comment was more towards those that complain about the seasonal cosmetics. If you want to complain about the Prime stuff have at it.

I don't really care about seasonal stuff. If it is something I really want, I get it. If not, I don't.
My argument was that the Devs are hypocrites. They stated that "we don't want exclusive cosmetics anymore", but only a few months later they added prime cosmetics in which case nobody knows if we will ever see them in the store, as there hasn't been any statement on them.
And then the Devs say that they don't want to add P100 Rewards because of FOMO, while capitalizing on the same tactic for prime, seasonal cosmetics and the deep rift.
The only difference between P100 Rewards and prime/store cosmetics is money. And that is just sad.

Why should anyone want to be P100 if you get only tunneled, camped or harassed in end game chat? Because this is what you get. If I want a normal match I can't play my main.
Tbh you are not missing out on anything important if you are not going for P100. Unless you want to suffer.
