Franklin's Demise is Unfair.
There's nothing a Survivor can do to negate a Black Ward, so why does Franklin's Demise still remove your held item? Just make it remove charges on a basic attack, it's not fair your White Ward is completely negated by a single Perk.

Same goes for light born. It would be enough to just make blinding the killer take longer, but no the flash light with its addons is useless.

Items and add-ons for Survivors can be acquired without ever using bloodpoints. Either through chests or through Dramaturgy (or just taking it from a dead teammate) the Survivors can gain items (and add-ons if bringing Ace In the Hole) by simply playing. Even if the item is depleted, escaping with it will keep it.
Killers cannot gain add-ons by just playing, they must spend bloodpoints and due to it's random nature it can take a lot of bp to get the add-ons you want. Unless a Black Ward is brought then 4k or 0k the add-ons are lost (and even then, if the server crashes there's a chance to lose the add-ons anyway).
Franklin's is only useful if you can hit Survivors before they use their items and their whole plan revolved around that item. It doesn't make you better in chase, it provides no info, it doesn't provide slowdown, it doesn't even grant a bp bonus. Unless the Killer is feeling spiteful and you brought 4 beamers/toolboxes then Franklin's has essentially no guaranteed value. Franklin's also takes 25% of the Killer's build just to deal with items.
It's annoying, sure, but it's hardly game-breaking or even very powerful.

But killers get a lot more blood points and rarer addons like iris aren‘t as rare as a purple flash light.
Ace in the whole is a stupid perk in my opinion, it should be base kit.

I agree. I've complained about this perk in the past. Its annoying and instantly makes me not want to be in the match with the killer using it. You get hit, lose your item and by the time you're able to recover it (if you even can) the charges are gone. I really don't understand the thought process that goes into the design of some of these perks.

Playing without LB vs 4 beamer fellows is obnoxious. Every pallet, every other pick up.. it is just awful.

Then the people don‘t do gens and in most case you can just look at a wall or slug. Just hard countering an item, which is equivalent to a killers power (in my opinion), doesn‘t feel right to me.

So? How is that exactly better? It can still feel terrible for the killer, they couldn't care less at that point.
That's like Headon squad, you will win because they don't do anything, but that experience is really not worth it.

There isn't always walls to look at nor is that a full proof solution. Slugging sucks the fun out of the game for both sides and when you're in the small amount of games where your hand is literally forced into doing it that just feels worse. We already had the "just make blinds take longer" attempt and turns out it isn't worth using in that form because of the way flashlight addons have always been and continue to be balanced.

Franklins is fine, only used on B tier killers at best. With how items are right now it's only worth taking it vs 3 toolboxs.
Distortion essentially negates all aura reading except for a few worthless exceptions as one survivor perk, that's far worse design and actually strong.
Same argument but one has validity.
