Survivors using the "5%" gen kick to make wiretap impossible to get rid of.
video speaks for itself.

"Its just a tech guys!" Whenever any survivor strat is found. Lol. They said they were already patching it though so i wouldnt be to fussed.

Source on them already talking about patching it?

This acknowledge by devs if i am not mistaken and yeah it's stupid lol
Hopefully they will fix it in next patch

Ahhh yes. Another case of content creator being irresponsible for free views. Figures.
7 -
why would a big content creator do a vib on such a game breaking bug. knowing half the players will probably do it?
2 -
Ideally, so people abuse it and thereby garner more attention to it getting it fixed faster.
Also, cuz it's kinda cool.

But this was clear in the PTB, wasn't it? Like, people on the PTB were gen-dribbling to do this stuff, right?
Why did it go live as is?
3 -
🤣 The solo q buff people been waiting for.
1 -
a Lot of stuff were complained in the PTB and went live anyways, whats the surprise?
2 -
People already called this before the rework was out. When a killer uses pain res on your generator you can tap it to avoid Pop. Those 4 second gen taps are not even that much slower. So this was expected to happen

At the time of PTB, the community manager responded to the user's reply by saying, "We are aware of it." Yeah, just figuring it out. If repairs are made in the future like in the old Ruin era, party partners who understand will no longer be able to carry Parks such as PoP, and infinite Wire Tap will eliminate the need for reading and bargaining when chasing specific positions.

This was a thing on ptb, they havent changed it? Lmao

Wiretap still wont see usage because it's only really useful on shack and really inconsistent otherwise. It doesn't help that it got nerfed some months ago.

He literally uses it on main building to get high value in this video. Basically any gen in the middle of a strong structure benefits from this.

I mean, based on what Otz said in a video not too long ago, even "big content creators" don't get anywhere when they raise problematic stuff like this.
So raising awareness by making a video on it, is probably the next best thing
1 -
i guess that could be his attention. He's having a little bit too much fun abusing in that vib for me

The number one reason I don't engage much with content creators.
Any time something unbalanced/bugged/unfair hits the game they JUMP at the opportunity to show it off and then everyone and their dog decides to do it too.
It reminds me of bodyblocking Pig. Most of us longtime players knew this was possible to do, but it was so infrequently used that it wasn't much of a problem. But then content creators started making videos about it and I was going up against it 3 times a day...
The whole "bringing awareness of the issue" argument I see people make to defend this kind of thing doesn't hold up. If you're aware of an issue like this you can easily report it here on the forums (where less people will see and mimic it) or send it directly to the developers. I did this myself years ago when I accidentally discovered a spot survivors could glitch into and become invulnerable. This was prior to EGC so you could hold a killer hostage indefinitely with it. What did I do? Privately report it to DbD support. Because publically announcing it to everyone just leads to people trying it and a ton of ruined matches.
No hate to this specific content creator. I haven't watched the linked video so I'm just speaking generally here.

Him and aryun often do that. There was a video they did a while back with otz where they bullyed a demo into leaving and they laughed about it instead of realizing how miserable they were making the game for that player.
1 -
lol I'm not even remotely surprised by any of them names acting like that. That why i only watch a small hand full of people.

Well it's definitely NOT to spread awareness of the bug, that's for sure (no sarcasm)
