Please fix the random miss skillcheck penalty when leaving a generator.
While I'm happy gen tapping got nerfed because it was time consuming for killer and easy for survivors to counter the kick, there is still a major problem :
When a survivor leaves a generator, if a skill check event starts, it makes you automatically fail and you got a 10 % penalty.
Suggestion : when you stop repairing a generator, the skill check event is cancelled if it's not due to a killer related perk (opression, overcharge, etc.).
Addendum : OR as Seraphor suggests : make the skillcheck screen available while moving away from the generator like the current Overcharge visual, might be easier to implement and avoid exploit from beginners trying to dodge skillchecks.
This would be a great QoL for all survivors. They shouldn't get a huge penalty like this just because of RNG.

When you let go during a skillcheck, what do you expect to happen?
The devs could theoretically give a bit more leeway by tweaking some timings around the warning sound and the actual "now you can fail the check"-timing...
But people might get too used to new timing and start complaining about this topic again.

So survivors could just let go every time they get a skillcheck and not need to worry about hitting them?
The better option would be to treat all skillchecks like Overcharge skillchecks and have it continue after you've let go.

This is the solution I think they should go with.

Ok, thank you I edited my OP according to your suggestion. Sounds better, less risk of exploits/foolish behavior.
