Can we please get map bans for killers?

The map design still remains one of the biggest problems in DBD. You can play as someone like Singularity or Hillbilly and load on Hawkins or Lery's and just not get to play the game, you can't use your power for most of the game, you have to rely on normal m1 gameplay stripping the killers of their uniqueness and why they were picked to play in the first place. I think it's finally time to introduce killer specific map bans. It can be a realm ban or simply ban of multiple maps so you can never get them as a specific killer. Say, you can ban an entirety of Badham realm or you can pick 2-3 individual maps to never get them(number of bans can vary). All of this is killer specific, so you can have multiple indoor maps banned for killers that require LOS and ban multiple open maps for stealth killers if you want.

Or we could just fix maps like Badham, Game, and Garden since those are the 3 main problematic maps.

It does suck playing billy, wesker or singularity and getting a map like lery's is the thing. You basically are not using your power.

That's kinda wasted offering. I want my cakes...

Well, I just don't play map dependant killers, but map banning system might help some killers like Singularity etc.

Sorry but asking to opt-in on certain maps is no different than playing map offerings. You're still playing maps you think you have an advantage in. It just eliminates the need for offerings altogether. It's just asking for basekit map offerings at this point without having to sacrifice puddings to play them.

True, but there are big problems caused by poor maps and map designs, players being able to choose them to exploit the bad design just exacerbates the problems while giving players an option to prevent atleast the worst maps for them.

Its adresses 2 problems to a degree for minimal work, so i don't see why not. There is not going to be a faster and easier solution.

I think the developers won't do this and in my opinion we don't need it. Yes, there are maps that are bad for killers but let's be honest every killer has very good and very bad maps and if I get a bad map every fith game I'm fine. In addition, just because you get a bad map, does not mean you automatically lose. A bad map can help you to improve you with the killer. However, there are two things I really hate about maps and I really hope the developers will fix: 1) Map offerings are just boring and annyoing - they should be removed from the game. It is so stupid how one thing kann turn the odds in the favor of one side. 2) strong survivor- or killer-sided as well as boring maps. Badham, Garden of joy, Midwich, and The Game are examples of this. These maps need a rework/tweak to make them more balanced/fun to play for both sides.

That's basically just free map offerings with extra steps

The problem is map offerings and which role burns an offering that favors them. You can’t ban maps.

I think system where you can choose a map is not a good and it can be abused, we can see it on map offerings.

But preventing 2-3 specific maps with current number of maps don't see as a problem. You will not get rid of all bad maps for you, but you can filter the worst.

I know for sure, I would never play RPD as a Dredge ever again, if I could.
