This was an experience.
So I've done my first match, as Nurse.
No perk, no add-on, no vision ... Blinking almost blind all the time was challenging.
Finding survivors was a challenge. My only help was the sound they made.
I've won this one but only because since I've not played for months, I've gone against a prestige 0 & 1 team.
My second match was with the Doctor. The team was arguably better but it was way easier that with the Nurse. I got an abandon tough, which is kind of a bummer given it's only the first few hours.
This mode is great so far.

Try Myers! Its like playing scratched mirror all the time. I love it!

Such a bonus too, for everyone who’s never played perkless to at least experience the game from a different perspective.
I think it’s fantastic!

Finally only skill matters! No one can complain that the other side got carried by perks or addons.

Queuing as Myers.
I've often played perk-less but only as Nurse. The way I see it, the mod is effectively a perk of two, for both sides.
I'm loving it.
I feel I'll be crushed after a few wins. As soon as the survivors learn how to hide and exploit the lower range I'm toast xD
I've not dared to play survivor yet myself. You know I don't consider myself to be very good, and I'm probably worse now : I've not played that side since our last game. ^_^;;;

Myers : hilarious. Particularly the survivor who has jumped on a locker while I was P3 xD
Billy : difficult, but I was in Lery's.

Try Chucky, he is really so scary to face. He is already hard to see and in this mode, it's even better.

Give the Knight a try, if you can. The survivor is chilling on the gen and there is suddenly a guard there, it is awesome ;)

Ooh
Ooooh
Choices choices ... xD
Just did Trapper and pushing survivors to traps was kind of fun ^_^

Geting map out of the chest as survivor. Hmm, delicious.

I liked playing survivor. Lots of jump scares. But yes, once survivors figure out that there are no scratchmarks and how hard they are to see, in dark clothes...
Lost survivors a couple of times.

It's been extremely disappointing for me.
I did expect it to happen, but I was hoping the camping and tunneling would come on Day 2, not immediately.
Not exactly a fun experience as Survivor, I'm sure it's great on a lot of Killers.
It just absolutely destroys any opportunity to play outside of a 4-man. You need the coordination to have information and you also need to stop the inevitable tunnel out.

For sure, haha perkless Nurse is challenging! She’s my slay-bestie, but I prefer to have a couple slots full.
I learn all my Killers perkless for a month or so, then add perks accordingly; but always try to be able to enjoy each Killer and play fairly comfortably w/o needing more than 2 perks.
Even if Light’s Out receives a few tweaks from the Devs, I’m still stoked if the mode returns permanently🥳

Good guy : survivors kept running into me because they didn't immediately realise I wasn't chasing anymore. ^_^
Knight : I didn't manage to surprise them on gens, but I've used the guards to detect their direction in a chase, push them, and intercept from the other side ^_^
How does it helps?
I see a surge of Claudettes. Like in the good old days xD (I'm not a Claudette main for nothing)
I play it as casual as possible. I can't understand someone playing that mode competitive.
That being said, even trying to spread the pain as much as possible I've made a couple of early kills by mistake. For some reason I find it more difficult to keep track of who's been hooked.

Map reveals you the location of generators, totems and chests. In other words whatever ''advantage'' killer has over survivors in this mode is essentially nullified because now both survivors and killers know the location of key objectives on the map. With no scratch marks and large number of medkits or flashlights, hit and run doesn't do much so if you'll try to play nice on certain killers, you will get rolled over instead in no time.
The mode itself is fun, but certain things kinda tip the scales into one side or another a bit too much and too often.

Oh, I see. Thanks.

Ironically camping and tunneling are the even more required in this mode because survivors usually run around with items and you as a killer have no information or generator defense perks.
Try playing against survivors who are on voice chat, have a map and 3 toolboxes and you will realize it's almost unplayable without tunneling someone asap. On average matches, you will be dealing with toolboxes, maps and medkits 24 / 7 because there are much more chests around and survivors don't have to worry about losing items.

This is one of those times where I'm gonna be an ######### and say that this is so wrong it doesn't even warrant a serious response.

Ye, whatever. I just shared my usual experience with that mode where I actually tried to be nice to survivors as killer.
