The most Unfair 3-Gen I have ever seen

Had a game earlier today in lights out and I have NEVER seen a 3 gen this bunched up and close to eachother.

The clip I shared is 10 seconds of me walking to 3 different gens with nurse.

This should never spawn like this lol.

That's crazy. Both sides can't really progress in that situation. Survivors can barely touch a gen before the killer gets to them and the killer can't commit to a chase because they'll lose that last gen in 40 seconds.

I've seen worse gen spawns than this. This is the problem with the game not Survivors 3 genning themselves but the fracking gen spawns. The eight regression limit is not a solution they need to revert the changes and fix gen spawns.

Their "solution" to 3-gens doesn't do crap when you still have gens spawn like this.

Exactly. I have had this 3-Gen a two days ago:

Luckily the Killer did not really care for it (it was a Blight, so not surprising, it is not like Blight has to 3-Gen to win), but this is basically all you can do as Survivor - try to do those Gens first and hope the Killer does not capitalize on having such a 3-Gen.

Another example would have been 5 Gens on one side of Suffocation Pit. The part with the Pit had 5 Gens and the Basement.

Or on Dead Dawg, I have seen a 3-Gen where there was one Gen next to the Windmill/Tower-thingy, one on the opposite side of the road in front of the house and one in the middle of the road in front of Shack.

The Devs really need to look at this and fix it, because especially the newish and reworked Maps have so many 3-Gens which can spawn.

In general, they should tone down the Map-RNG a bit. This goes for basically everything, Gens, Hooks, Pallets. I am not saying that it should be removed entirely, but you should not spawn into a Map and see 3 Hooks clumped together and the next time you spawn into it, the same area has 1 Hook. Or that you can be at Shack and see 5 Pallets around it or you are at Shack and see nothing around it. Or the Map can spawn with the most ridiculous 3-Gen and then without any Gen next to each other.

I think the huge RNG-factor was fine in the beginning of DBD where we only had a very limited amount of Maps and Realms. But nowadays we have 47 Maps in the game and a Map Prevention-system. I think reducing the RNG would still make Trials feel different from each other.

The 8 regression events mean that the killer is gonna have to take chase eventually

I don't know how it's possible for this game to be almost 8 years old and still have these basic problems unresolved. Is it not possible to program the map generation logic to not allow generators to spawn below a minimum distance threshold?

The thing is about the new gen system is that it still allows Skull Merchant to hold 3-gens down for a long amount of time if she gets a 3-gen spawn like these because, if she's running Overcharge + Oppression, she can technically just never kick the gens unless one gets a good amount of progress on it so that Overcharge gets put onto the gen to bring it all the way back down quickly and Oppression will start regressing the other 2 gens without eating a regression event on those gens. And she has the ability to easily pressure survivors off of those kinds of gens which can allow her to protect Overcharge until it fully deletes the gen.

Also, as a Skull Merchant main, I did run Overcharge + Oppression for awhile in case I got one of these types of gen spawns so I could test the effectiveness of the strategy and, yes, she can stall games out for a long while in these cases. However though, it's really just dependent on if she gets lucky or not and has to be more tactical/smart with her kicks.
