Hook Bubble Notifications need a rework! Desperately!
Please rework the hook bubble notifications, you can't see through them. That is all. Hope it's not too hard.

Unfortunately the developers said they serve an important function and likely won’t remove them.
They’re pretty annoying tho. Perks like kindred don’t get much value because of it.

and this is what originally hook bubble was then they changed it without telling people and we thought it was a bug…

Yep, they changed it with the Dredge chapter. My friend and I were both Kindred addicts and immediately noticed the change. BHVR has been gaslighting players that it's "always been this way" ever since.

It's most annoying when you're running Object of Obsession and the killer has BBQ. Basically makes Object useless in that scenario.

What's the explanation for why the hook bubble behaves this way?

Apparently, it obscuring so much view and being such an interference to the normal gameplay of both survivors and killers is a design choice.
Why? Nobody knows, as they didn't explain and it doesn't make any sense.

I'd be pretty embarrassed at that if I were the project lead. If it's buried beneath hard-to-alter coding, it'd be more based to just admit that, rather than giving us non-answers like "just because."
