hook bubble removal!!!!!!
please!!!!!! can we remove or rework the hook/gen bubble into something else!!! the amount of times you cant see where the killer goes with kindred or survs w bitter murmur amongst other things like surely there is a better way to indicate when a gen is done or where someone is hooked!!!!!!

the bubble counters the blindness effect, without it third seal would actually be a meta perk against solo q or even duo, imagine 3 survivors dying in the first hook

They definitely need to add a transparency option or allow us to disable the effect altogether as it does disrupt the game-play.
There is a option "beta" that has FOV slider additionally they could just add this there as well to test it.

i know which is why i said /rework because thats the only thing i know the bubble is useful for, but im sure they could figure out a way around that

because not everything is supposed to be handed to us. we have to work around inconveniences and adapt.
a big part of the game is dealing with a LACK of information, and sadly they keep reducing that and giving more and more info.
info is king in DbD.

The intention of the bubble is to obscure various views - not just to let you know when something has been completed.

I am confused. The goal of the bubble is indeed to hide auras? This is not a side effect ?
This makes the killer aura reading part of the perk "Kindred" useless most of the time.
This sometimes counters the use of the perk "Bitter murmur" before the last gen is completed.
Fine with its existence to help players affected with the "blindness" status effect, but it shouldn't cover up auras IMO.

Yeah, but for what reason? Its pretty annoying especially when its like kindred or a killer with movement and you can't see them with the bubble.

I was really confused what everyone meant about this "bubble" but reading the context I figured it out. The whole big black circle that completely covers up a generator, and like a 5th of your screen, and all auras in that vicinity? Yes, it is obnoxious and it should not exist.

but the WHOLE point of perks like kindred and bitter murder are to show an aura when an action (hook/gen completion) is done, what is the point of those perks (outside of seeing other survivors with kindred) if you literally cannot use them because of the bubble without perks like openhanded/lethal pursuer

please enlighten me to views of what? because as far as im concerned it renders perks like bitter murmur useless unless run with lethal? and half the reason people run kindred is to let you know where the killer is going? you've said in the past that it is "by design to limit information that the survivors have with regards to the killers movements", but this does not align with aura reading on the killers end. both killers and survivors have been complaining about this since at least 2018, i think everyone would be happy if they got rid of it, or at least made it so relevant perks can work with it. i.e. like the image below.

Kindred you can still see things after the Bubble. it's more for camping Killers.
Bitter Murmur you have a point. it should probably have the duration of aura reading increased.

Extending Bitter Murmer a little for this reason makes sense.
I understand the reasoning behind the disruptive Bubble, it's meant to draw all players attention to objectives being completed by either role. But tweaking side effects to other perks and such is worth doing imo.

what about it used to be see through for auras for almost 6 years then suddenly out of nowhere it got changed without even letting people know resulting in people thinking it was a bug?

and they are still acting like this was always a thing that it blocks auras and not enough people actually know that the bubble originally used to show auras through it

Yes we need this, give it immediately PLEASE!!! It should be like mobile's slightly opaque non animated overlay, still letting u clearly see where the objective occured and the auras around it. Plus mobile has off screen arrows too, core doesn't for some reason.

in fact they dont even have to do this instead just revert the hook bubble to its original state where it showed auras through it.

this makes no sense considering bitter murmur and Kindred exist lol why would you obscure it? People with good memory will know whats in the area anyways. if they've been there

My thoughts exactly.
They could at least make it see through for auras. That way, the benefits would remain but the most annoying issues disappear.
