VR

Dear the dbd staff and community

I think that bringing this game to VR would be a game changer as there are no over games that I'm aware off that are like dbd. If you were to bring this game to dbd I know it would be difficult buy I was thinking that for the generators you can lake make it a mini game you have to do.

I'd pray I don't get any VR players in my lobby, they'd be at an enormous disadvantage.

tbh, survivor should be in 1st person, VR or not

Yes please, lets be honest DBD stopped being scary after the first few games and now with all the youtube content its just goofy. Still fun to play though and I play it often. VR would make it scary again. It might be a disadvantage to survivors but what do we care about survivor mains anyway, they're toxic AF. Please do VR.

In other ways it would be advantageous for survivors. Flashlights would be so much easier to use.

Having the option to play survivor in first person would be a blast in itself, and after all this time I'm surprised BHVR hasn't added it as a simple option, it would be more widely accessible to a wider audience than VR. If the setting is completely optional then it wouldn't need to be in any separate game modes or anything as it would be completely voluntary whether or not you want to get extra spooky. If it could be changed VIA the menu, so you could even change it back to Third-person during a match if it is too much to handle.

They could make it sort of like Rust, where there is a lock on how far you can turn your camera, and you can look further by pressing ALT, even while working on a gen. If anyone here does, or has played Rust, they'll know what I'm talking about.

You could still (probably) do the fancy foot work while running, it would be real discombobulating tho, which would kinda be the fun of it imho.

When I first started playing VR smooth settings without tunneling where incredibly nauseating but after playing a while I'm having fun playing roller coaster games and RE4 and 8 without any comfort settings. I hope more people can overcome the vertigo. I hope thats not whats setting devs back from VR games.

VR is something the developers considered, but it was considered too much for Survivors. However I think they could make this feature optional for players who just want to have spooky fun. No harm or fowl in that.

I hope they reconsider PSVR2 is lacking content right now, I'm sure if it can be released under VR 2 category on the play store just about everyone with a psvr2 would play it just to do something new. I feel like that could expand their own player base from a business perspective I don't know why they wouldn't want to try.
