Why...? Is this some kind of joke from BHRV ?

Oh wow, they made it ever so slightly harder to abuse her gameplay to guarantee at least one free kill while buffing her chase power, though not to an extent where they probably should have. Those pesky devs and their refusal to remove as much skill expression from this game as possible! At this rate killers will never get their sacrifice all four survivors instantly button!

There is a reason why all killers with a secondary objetive are among the top in kills in the latest statistics. Bad players don't even know what they have to do, and this is something that they will hardly be able to solve, because people are not going to learn to play overnight. They seem to have decided that the way to fix this is to make these objetives less oppressive, but it's the wrong approach.

Freddy will unleash chaos in soloq no mather what, they will keep dying by Sadako's condene, they will continue winouth solving Pinhead's box and they will not be able to get rid of Pig's trap. This game needs tutorials that explain all its mechanics and from the developers side assume that there are people who are just bad at videogames or just casual players who are not aware of how all these killers work.

Exactly. They don't need to nerf or buff killers with secondary objectives that are not at all bad when you understand what they are. They need to make an actual tutorial system that goes beyond "touch gens, touch exit gates, escape!". This game offers so little up-front information to new players that they don't have to actively seek out from outside sources or clicking through 4 different prompts to bring up a killer power.

I think for Pig it is more the case that her Power can actually kill Survivors. Similar to Sadakos Condemned. And those are really not supposed to be THAT letha. Obviously someone should die when they completely ignore the Trap (or do it very late). But Headpops or Condemned Kills should not be common.

And players not knowing how to play against certain Killers... Well, we have so many Killers nowadays that you can go on for a few weeks without facing a specific Killer. If we look at Pig, she has a pickrate of 2%. This means, you encounter one Pig every 50 games on average. So you will play like 8 hours before you encounter a single PIg. And during that time, you will also encounter many other Killers whose powers you will have to remember.

I think it is very difficult for a new Survivor nowadays to get into the game when there are so many different Killers with different powers and on top of that, you will encounter some Killers just very rarely.

Pig is at 63% kill rate and they aim for 60%. So buffing her chase they don't want another Skullie with 70% kill rate. I guess that is how they think here. Making Pig more fun to play and against while nerfing kill rate just a little.

Check this video out of someone who isn't theory crafting, but putting the new changes up to the test.

I must say, I was pretty miffed after reading the changes, but this looks pretty promising.

Well unlike 3 gen skull merchant as pig you need to create opression on trapped survivor and not just kicking gens in cycle

@monochromeworld Duuuuude, take a chill pill. We get it, your raison d'etre was to pop heads with Pig and I am somewhat sorry for you personally (*hint hint* that's called Empathy. Try it out once in a while), but Pigs traps were 99% mostly there to provide slowdown, and they provided awesome slowdown.

I would recon that Pigs most fun playstyle was coin-flip AFK Box guarding while roaring at survivors, but I can still see the wisdom of nuking that playstyle. With a bit of polish Pig now has the best charge attack power in the game.

I wouldn't go that far on the last part. Chuckys might be a bit better since he mostly has the same control as pig. And if the survivor predrops or vaults he can follow and hit. But pretty close.

Fair,I nearly forgot about him, even though I play him a lot :D

Best power in class is always hard to determine with certainty, but at least she is suddenly a contender.
