So, the twins are rather unique compared to other killers since well they are 2 different killers, but I feel like they aren't engaging to play or go against and they can feel extremely clunky.

That said I did have fun matches with/against them but they are just unfun in my opinion, I think a rework would help them out a ton.

What could this rework be?, well the character itself is unique so reworking it while keeping it's core idea is a bit hard, but maybe making Charlotte 4.6 m/s and make Víctor work kind of like a nemesis zombie when you are not controlling him.

I am taking shots in the dark and this is probably horribly unbalanced so I'll just say that they need a rework.

    While I would love the idea of the Twins functioning with an AI taking control while I'm on the other character, I believe bHVR may only opt for a slight rework. It's important to remember that the Twins already have a small but dedicated fanbase, and losing any specific gameplay could disappoint them.

    I think bHVR has them in mind, but also they want to make Twins good to play and play against. Aswell as making sure the Killer supports an "open door" to new Killers who wanna play.

    Well, except fixing their bugs, there is one change I would like to see.

    Currently the most annoying thing playing twins is that fatique after each down with Victor. It just feels really bad. 5 seconds for each down is just a lot... Issue is it kinda force you to slugging.

    I would just let players swap to Charlotte even during fatigue (after 1 second -> same as latching), so you can go pick up survivor without wasting time, or wait that fatique on try to get another down/hit with victor. Both would become valid options.

    This actually an amazing quality of life change that I didn't think about.

    I understand, so maybe quality of life changes just like @VomitMommy suggested

    I would like to keep current Twins gameplay, just polish it with fixes and some QoL changes.

    We also definetly need better skins for Twins :D

    So judging from Sadako "rework" to remove slugging, I think twin slugging is going to be removed because it is unfun for the survivor. The biggest thing makes twins slug currently hold-w by survivor when using victor. If the survivor is running forward and is 30 second away from being pick-up, the chase could be 10 second long but if chalotte has to walk 30 second to pick-up survivor and spend 10-15 second to hook the survivor, a 10 second chase is 55 second chase. there is lack of killer time efficiency in twin's general kit gameplay style that needs to be resolved for Twins to not slug.

    Alternatively, they could make bleed out slugging more effective so then twins does not need to hook as much and naturally wins by successfully down survivors over time. I do not think that this will happen for twins.

    Overall, I do not think Twin will be a popular killer because they are not a forgiving killer to play. Missing with Victor then getting kicked is like playing an arcade game at level 30 and you go back to level 1.

    Considering what BHVR did to Sadako and Pig, I think it’s safe to assume that when BHVR says they want to address slugging on Twins, that Twins will get a massive nerf to slugging, might get a few weak buffs, and will be overall much worse off than before.

    that what i assume as well. massive nerf to slugging, some buff attempts to incentive hooking. Something like Sadako's lock-in condemn on hook. that type of change.

    I don’t think they need a rework at all. The hate for slugging is irrational.

    The reason they aren’t played a lot because of so many bad changes that were done to them over the years that just made them less fun. Such as the the 5 second stun on Victor down.

    They also have some flaws that make them less fun that they’ve had since the beginning, such as never putting a real negative to taking Victor hostage.

    So no rework, they just need improvements to their design. Remove the excessive stun on successful Victor pounce and give an actual downside to taking Victor. Basically revert all the nerfs they gave them since their release, they were all completely unnecessary and just made them less fun.

    Lastly they have so many bad addons that don’t make sense. Such as effects that apply when crushing an idle Victor..useless. Just make it crushing Victor period. Also most the status effect applications are way too short. They need to almost all be 60 seconds applied at minimum.

    Honestly, I would be happy with they would just allow Victor be recalled earlier, so people aren't purposely just running around with Victor because they think it's fun to force the killer to be stuck as an M1 killer for extended periods of time.

    indeed. that is one of the worst mechanics ever. one the major reasons to not bother playing twins. picking a killer that swf can abuse is not interesting. twins is as simple as split up and do gens, stay healthy and hold victor hostage.
