Slugging for 4k

We're only talking about 4 minutes here and it's part of the game. What is there not to understand?
Believe me, there are worse things....

Or Solo Q which happens even to decent players.

I can’t remember having a game that lopsided in many, many months while in solo queue..and I play way, way more than the average player. If this is something happening regularly it’s a skill issue, not a solo queue one.

I think your secondly is wrong, because if they are that highly outclassed, they should not have been matched with the killer in the first place, but that happens because mmr is neglegted for better matching times. So what should lowering mmr do, because the survivors will get matched like that again anyway.
But when you think that the killer hasnt already won in a 3v1 match with still 5 gens to do, i dont think we will find common ground on this.
Edit: Just out of interest, how often do you see matches where 3 survivors escape after the first died with no gen finished?

I actually agree on your first point. They may have just been placed with a more skilled killer through bad matchmaking so that doesn’t necessarily mean they should be lowered. That’s a fair point and could be the case.
I’m not saying the likelihood of them winning in a 3v1 isn’t significantly lower at that point. I’m simply saying the game isn’t objectively over and there is still a chance.
For your Edit point. I would say that scenario in and of itself happens so rarely that you wouldn’t even have enough datapoints to draw conclusions from. That scenario is that rare. If it’s way more common for someone than that then more is happening than just bad matchmaking, it’s back to a skill issue.
Similar to how often people blame solo queue for why they lost when it’s more often a skill issue. Not saying you don’t lose a lot from solo queue and bad teammates, but I play mostly solo queue and way, way more than the average play and I win way more matches than I lose. People in general don’t like accountability.

Adding a gauge based on killer proximity could be a useful method. It would give either another way of getting up or exiting the game for the downed survivor. This could be specific to when there are 2 or less survivors. It would be an attempt to dissuade camping a downed survivor. This could be useful as a way to give the sense that you still could make it or that you don’t have to wait forever.

I am of the opinion that a "die" button should exist for slugs if only 2 Survivors remain when slugged for 30 seconds.
However using this "give up" button would trigger the "death by Entity" animation that plays when dying by EGC and would count as a full sacrifice (3 hook actions) and not bleedout (to satisfy challenges, emblems and bp).
This would give Survivors an option to just go next instead of having to wait 4 minutes and Killers wouldn't lose much since slugging for 4k would still give a minimum of 30 seconds to find the other one (pretty generous depending on the Killer).

I mean I slug everyone once per game, to burn / check for unbreakables.
and sometimes slugging is the best play, I mean why do you think
legion
oni
and bubba exist?
if slugging is as big as a problem as survivors try to make it out to be then run perks like unbreakable more?
what is wrong with survivors, your only allowed to counter play if your a survivor but killers have to play in your cookie cutter ways. maybe instead of trying to change everyone else and how they play maybe take a look in the mirror and how you play thats getting you down so fast in the first place

Then just leave the game. There are two sides and the killer can slug for their 4th kill without risking someone escaping. You queued up after all.

No tunneling works in comp also that's how they win.
0 -
I never said tunneling doesn’t work. The statement you said and that tunneling allows people to win are two extremely different statements. Also, the games we’re playing aren’t comp games.
2 -
Yea that's why I said it works ALSO it works better in pubs.

So how can the survivor left on the ground end the match while the ghostface teabags on top of him and refuses to hang him without a penalty?
0 -
I never said anything about that survivor. Although they could just run anti slug perks if it’s really happening that often and get good value. He could also crawl away from the last survivor allowing him to complete the final gens for free if the killer really is staying there.
The point I was actually making was that people shouldn’t be auto blaming the killer for this scenario when the other survivor not on the ground is just as if not arguably even more guilty in that situation.

When your entire day is taken from you 4 minutes is precious time buddy 😃

Force bleed out was what I was requesting for a reason if I’m slugged I can’t leave without getting a dc penalty or unless the killer hooks me

Time spent playing dbd is one of the most wasted hours of your life.
0 -
If I have nothing better to do and chose to play dbd I don’t see the issue with that I don’t need my time wasted by someone so thirsty for a 4k when they’re the only ones who can send me to my next match without penalty
0 -
yes. So your idea itself is not bad. I think it would be nice if all the existing survivors expressed their intention to surrender and the game ended if the killer wanted to accept it.
0 -
Are you talking about precious time? I'm sorry, but every person who plays computer games has enough time. It doesn't matter whether it's a minute or an hour. Playing computer games is generally a waste of time.
0 -
Exactly that's the point. There doesn't need to be one because it's the far you are playing.
0 -
As a mostly killer main, I'm all for it. I'm not a fan of slugging for the 4k. The match is over at that point, the killer won, no reason to rub salt in the wound. Let's move onto the next match. I honestly just prefer to give the last survivor hatch - more bp spread out.

Three mins into a game Bubba hooks player basement 2 others go to save it its over because Bubba has that instant down because you cant talk or communicate.
0 -
Like I said, skill issue. A Bubba with someone hooked in basement..very rarely should you be risking that unless you know he’s not down there. Second, two of y’all going down. If you can see another person not on a gen and not in chase then you shouldn’t be going because you know he’s going for it. This was multiple bad plays.
