Xeno is just better Nemesis

Playing as Nemesis is such a mix bag. If you get bad early game and you have survivors that have know how to loop, they will make you suffer and make it really hard for you to hit them 3 times with your power.

As Nemesis, early game is key similary to The Shape. If you don't get early fast Tier 2 and do some damage/infection spread you will lose most likely.

As Xeno, there is no such thing. Your secondary power (Zombies for Nemi) is WAY better since it gives you mobility and good info on people. It's way more consistent and helpfull. Your chase power, in core same as Nemesis, is also much better because you don't have to hit people 3 times.

Overall after thinking this though, I don't want to risk to suffer as weaker Killer (Nemi) that plays in chase pretty same as Xeno but has more advanced abilities and is just overall better and thus more fun to play.

I think the only point why ppl dont play Xeno as much is the hitbox of the tail isnt as sraight forward then nemmys.

I played Xeno non-stop when she was released, and she was a solid A+ tier due to a combination of solid map control and a very powerful tail attack. However, she's been shadow nerfed since then, and I've had instances of the tail going through survivors even when they are standing still and right in front of me. I'm not sure what they did, but the tail attack hitbox is so small now it's more comparable to Deathslinger's harpoon rather than Nemesis' tentacle.

I'm sure most people noticed this, so that's probably the reason there are not as many Xenos around. I haven't played her ever since Chucky was released, and I haven't faced her in like 4 months. I think the current Xeno and Nemesis are pretty similar in tier, but Nemesis' tentacle is more satisfying to use simply because it's more reliable and straightforward.

Xeno's tail attack feels awful. I don't know what's wrong with it but something does not feel right.

Xenomorph is more add on dependant though, playing without the helmet and Lambert's map of stars feels awful.

Not only this, Xeno's tail completly stop if it collide with something.

With Nemesis you can smash a wall then drag it to hit the pallet or the survivor directly. It makes him really forgiving because you can adjust your missaim + you have a way shorter cooldown than the tail attack. Add to this 1.2m with the T3 and a pallet shred making him better at pallet scenario than the Alien. The final point is the turrets, they slow you down a lot (not literally, i mean you have to take care of them).

Nemesis is just way smoother and easier than the Xenomorph imo. The secondary ability is the main power of the Xenomorph and it's insane... When you have good spawns and you can access them of course. I wish it had more stations.

It stops when you hit something, sometimes, you shoot directly at a survivor but the tail just hit something next to them and you "miss", it feels wrong because you see the tail hit them but nope, you have to be more precise than Nemesis. Nemesis can just "scan" a zone and hit you where Xenomorph need to not collide with anything if he wants to do this (which is sometime not possible).

If you hit the air tho, you can drag the tail even better than Nemesis since your hit window is 0,4 while Nemesis tentacle is 0,333.

The major difference is cooldowns, Nemesis is way more forgiving with his "i can hit a wall directly and still hit you + recover way faster anyway".

Xenomorph just feel way clunckier than Nemesis because of theses two things. Not even counting turrets or mutation and what comes with it (pallet shred and more range so more opportunities with your hit).

Xeno is more powerful but Nemesis is more fun for me. Linger tech is really fun and there are certain tiles where you could actually hit through little gaps (such as the gaps under undropped pallets) making him really satisfying to play. There's also more freedom when it comes to getting hits with the tentacle attack and more control with it. Xeno feels like I'm limited to short wall tiles and just getting guaranteed hits at windows and pallets which I don't find satisfying.

Xenomorph may be technically superior but Nemesis feels better most of the time. No low FOV, no flamethrowers, and less janky hitbox that prioritizes hitting literally anything except the survivor it's aimed at. Also the zombies are funny.

I guess I’m against popular opinion in this thread but I fully agree with you OP, Xeno is everything Nemesis is but better. I think the tail attack is way more fluid than Nemys whip which to me feels clunky at best.

I’ve made this comment to my friends multiple times that Xeno is literally just buffed Nemy in almost every way shape and form.

also the fact that the tail feels like it magnetizes towards windows instead of the survivor vaulting them.

Yeah, but Xeno doesn’t have those cool zombies🧟‍♀️
