Hello so I’m a pyramid head main who’s mained him for a long time that I sort of understand how his basekit functions in several cases and I understand what are some of the things he suffers with in dbd (or atleast what I suffer with managing in dbd)

Before you read the description of the addons I’d like to clarify that yes some of those concepts are shamelessly ripped off from other killers that I recently got into playing and I learned in the process of making these addons that the healthiest way for this killer to have great addons is to primarily focus on his chase and stealth capabilities rather than his tunneling capabilities 

And I’ll also write down here a list of why I made these addons what they are

Misty day, remains of judgment: firstly I’m huge silent hill 2 enthusiast and one of the things I like are accuracy for dbd so I decided to do some reworks for his addon placements and other than that I made the ability of this addon to break pallets and breakable walls mostly because it’s something that should’ve been a thing ages ago and I don’t think this addon will be problematic in any way 


Iridescent forgotten videotape: this addon was a nightmare to brainstorm a functionality of what this addon is capable of and in the end I decided to put it in this spot where it feels like a meme addon but it’s still strong and I also made this addon cause it’s the perfect bandaid fix to what I as a pyramid head main suffer the most with and it’s deciding whether to cage or not and what perks to bring cause this is a killer that denies hook perks on both sides. 


Crimson ceremony book: when I made my first addon concept I had this as a primary idea but without a timer and since this is idea was adapted into an addon I personally would like if the duration increases 


Lost memories book: I like stealth attacks with his kit… it’s fun 


Scarlet egg: aside from that this is shamelessly ripped off from another existing addon I also made this from my personal perk build in dbd which consists of the perk tinkerer and which I often use for multiple hits on gens so I came with making this as an addon just because it’ll be fun to use this addon and I am completely fine with it being toned down slightly 


Rust colored egg: sounds busted but it feels weak (from my ph main pov) cause rites of judgment doesn’t need that much of a recharge ability once you fully understand his basekit so this addon will probably be in a spot where it’s a crutch to some and worthless to others


Burning man painting: pretty much when your used to running double range addons you’ll never get used to playing without them so I thought I’d buff it just so I can empty a perk slot for another addon. 


Mannequin foot: both this addon and Cinderellas music box are fine as they are but I’m all for them being slightly buffed 


Obsidian goblet: this addon will be in strange spot as having an extra duration of rites of judgment will be in a spot where it won’t feel like a useful addon but in the same time won’t feel weak (also I might change the functionality of this addon with another yellow addon that I think is too strong for a yellow rarity) 


Tablet of the oppressor: I sort of ran out of ideas when I made this addon but this one is pretty neat on paper you move at 100% speed instead of 92% and the effect linger abit and it stacks with the 115% movement speed (so this part might need adjustment and I might lower it to 2 seconds) 


Wax doll: this one and burning man painting are in a strange spot as they both can stack on eachother which does infact sound problematic but it would need a testing 


Seal of metatron: I said this in an old thread I made that ph’s recharge addons should all be in one addon and this one is perfect for it 


Spearhead: I might switch rarities with this and tablet of the oppressor 


Leopard fabric print: this is basically the iridescent seal of metatron but as a yellow addon cause I feel like it’s better off in a lower rarity (maybe this addon will switch places with obsidian goblet)


Dead butterfly: this one is actually a purple addon that I decided to place in a very low spot as it’s still viable for jumpscare attacks and it’ll be fun to use 


Lead ring: well this one is in a good spot with the rework I gave it 


Copper ring: probably could need a new functionality later



I will still do more tweaks on these addons later

    I really like these! Iri videotape with BBQ would go pretty hard. Spearhead is literally Gift of Pain for cages and I love it for that since GoP is my favorite Scourge Hook. I think its duration should be buffed to 60 seconds though since 16 of those seconds would likely be for getting healed.

    Lost Memories Book + Scarlet Egg would be a fun combo. Lost Memories Book has a lot of good potential add-on combinations, like Obsidian Goblet for a longer Undetectable, Rust Colored Egg for instantly regaining back the stealth, and Tablet for faster movement speed while Undetectable. I love add-ons that have the potential to compliment each other. Dead Butterfly + Mannequin Foot and the survivors will never know where you are on the map... lots of fun build potential!

    I’m glad you liked my idea for iridescent videotape and spearhead and I’m also considering to increase the penalty duration but I’ll probably make this one a high tier addon and replace it with a green addon that doesn’t feel like it’s in a right spot

    also I’m glad you like the synergy concepts of those addons even I thought of some combinations

    Good to see the iri videotape got into the final concept! It with bbq or grim embrace would go hard. The rest look great!

    I’m glad you like this version of iri videotape! And the best part of all regarding the GE synergy is that you won’t have to do the “move 16m away from hook” thing which pretty much makes this an on demand gen block perk addon combo!

    Tablet of the Oppressor probably shouldn't have the lingering effect for 3 seconds since that would make him have even stronger Haste than Skull Merchant's that is even more free than hers since he can control when he gets it by simply tapping the ground with his blade, but other than that the addon would be fun to combo with Lost Memories Book so you can quickly get around the map while having stealth.

    On the topic of Lost Memories Book, I think this addon should be like it is, but I think that, since the effect concept clearly derives from the current version of Obsidian Goblet and with the trail duration addons getting a huge buff, this addon should also have the effect of current Obsidian Goblet where walking over a trail also grants the Undetectable status effect. That's the only change I think it should get.

    Crimson Ceremony Book I'd personally find to be pointless if the Mangled changes manage to, somehow, do go through to live servers and Hemorrhage that isn't permanent already isn't that great if I'm gonna be honest.

    Scarlet Egg is essentially the one purple addon that Ghostface has, but I think it'd probably be less effective than his mostly because of his limited range and the fact that survivors already rarely greed gens against him as is to even begin with.

    Leopard Fabric Print's effect is always gonna be a bad effect no matter what rarity you make it regardless until BHVR can find a way to make it easier to apply Torment to the survivors.


    All the other changes I like and personally think are fine/reasonable and the changes I listed above are the main ones that stand out the most to me in different ways.

    maybe a slight toning down to the lingering effect could be made but we’re not even sure how haste works with rites of judgment cause we don’t have addons that do this ability but maybe the lingering haste could only be 3% when leaving rites of judgment and only linger for 1 second

    And to top it I’m actually switching functionalities with this addon and spearhead since spearhead is abit strong for a yellow rarity

    lost memories is a purple addon so I also don’t see a problem with having current obsidian goblet as an extra functionality to the addon cause stealth is pretty fun

    and for scarlet egg I made this addon with the idea that burning man painting gets buffed to 2.5 meters rather than 1.5 so you can combo both addons and instantly regress 25% off a gen while being far away from it

    oh and I also use the perk tinkerer and pyramid head cause tinkerer + deadlock is often a fun combo to run

    It’s a fact that leopard fabric will always be a trash tier addon and the worst part of this addon is that it’s pretty much not worth using considering you can run BBQ and chili + iri tape and you can get twice the value this addon gives without further instructions of tormenting survivors and then caging other survivors

    and hey glad you liked most of the addons :D

    edit: forgot to mention regarding the sloppy butcher addons I think the duration should be 120 seconds long and this addon will be amazing

    Tbh I think they should give Executioner a special mechanic that is similar to Dredge's Nightfall(or even Freddy's dream realm) where after a set amount of time sirens start blaring and all interactables got covered with a bunch of barbed wire(sorta like as if the map was getting corrupted like in the movies/games) for a semi-short duration where touching any of those interactables(including gens, vaults/windows, pallets, etc) during that time instantly applied Torment to you. After the duration expires the clock starts back up counting down to when it'll happen again(just like with Dredge's Nightfall).

    I think that if he were to receive this mechanic then it'd actually help with him getting survivors Tormented more often and thus making his aura-reading addon effect actually useful. This would also give him a tiny amount of base-kit slowdown, but the survivors could easily ignore it since the only punishment of ignoring it is that they could potentially get sent to a cage due to their negligence getting them Tormented which would actually help with him needing an easier way of applying Torment to the survivors.


    Also I still think that either at base-kit or at least through one of his addons running through his trails causes the survivors to get 3% Hindered since they are running through barbed wire after all.

    That basekit change could be worth experimenting with on a PTB (altho could sound like a lot of work and might require a few tweaks with his basekit)

    I already love the idea of having the sirens noises as a nod to the silent hill franchise be a thing in the game

    And maybe we can make the 3% hinder the yellow aura reading addon? Although I won’t deny the trails do slightly slow down survivors from my experience

    I just find it as being a fair way to help him with getting more Torment afflicted to survivors without it being as powerful as his last PTB experiment because the survivors can actually avoid it by not touching anything during that time which would kinda serve as a bit of slowdown as well, but the survivor could also just blatantly ignore it if they choose to since the only actual punishment for making that decision is getting Tormented and potentially sent to a cage later. That's what I call "decision-making gameplay" unlike what they're trying to do with Mangled. Also, just to balance it out, it could easily be made to where getting Tormented during that time doesn't trigger Killer Instinct since it'd be much easier to get Tormented during that time.

    The purpose of the sirens blaring is for that reason, but it's also serving as a warning to all the survivors that everything is about to get covered in barbed wire as well so they can have time to quickly react by letting go of whatever they were currently touching if they don't want to get Tormented.

    Also, no, the trails don't cause any kind of Hindered nor slowdown in general. You can check the wiki yourself-


    Another potential change idea to his base-kit that would honestly be easier to implement into the game is that his hooks are always covered in barbed wire or something and whenever he hooks a survivor normally they get inflicted with Torment so that the next time they go down into the dying state they can be caged. It's a simpler idea, but it's not as cool as the first idea I showed.

    Not a fan that “decision making gameplay”

    I mean it does have some interesting aspects but that sort of turns pyramid head into pinhead on steroids and built in slowdown doesn’t sound that fun and this is a killer who already has many things in his basekit (i.e base mori, base hooking cages, antiloop + zoning) and I mean if that becomes a thing the devs also have to nerf other aspects of his basekit or that’ll just roid him.

    as for the slightly slower movement not sure but this is something that’s in the game but this is something that I encounter a lot when I usually torment on strong loops and it’s that I notice that the survivors start moving slow with how they keep stepping on the trails.

    and the last idea well I usually hook tormented survivors first and then cage them if I happen to down them on my second chase with them and that could also make tunneling even worse on this killer cause you could down a survivor and then deny DS by just caging them
