Weaving Spiders…
Has there been any word of any changes to this perk? The way it is now, only really good SWF can make any use of it without dooming their teammates. In SoloQ it’ll be a free killer perk.
Can the Broken status be removed? Or at least give it a 60/90sec duration rather than making it permanent? There’s enough risk with having to go to the basement and spend forever in casting the invocation, there’s no need for more.

Not aware of anything so far.

No dev update yet, so no.

Even without the "broken" effect, this perk is terrible (for me).

I don’t really keep up with Dev updates unless someone mentions them on the forums. When do they usually have them? Day before the chapter drops?

Hopefully they change it so that the 15 charges per gen are locked in permanently, then it might actually be useful

It generally varies I think.

Nothing so far. But even then, the perk is worthless in a coordinated swf. The perk just has no real benefit when other killers usuall bring gen regression perks like surge or simply just kick gens to do away with a measly removable 15% charges.
I heard the beginning concept of the perk had it be like bnp where 15% couldnt be removed but they changed that for ptb. They should bring that back honestly. Otherwise nobody will run it like teammwork perks

They should have at least tested it with the “lock in” like the BNP and if it was too strong they could nerf it. Hopefully they make it more useful on Chapter Release!

In my imagination, I feel the best use of this perk is helping to finish the last 3-gens without needing to risk being at them, when the killer's patrol is at its most focused. The Broken status effect will also have the least impact at the end of the game. But the effect is currently too weak to justify, so I hope it is buffed.
But it will likely not be buffed before it goes live, because BHVR does not change anything immediately based on PTB feedback, at least not anymore.

I don’t think they’ve ever changed anything from a PTB, I was just being hopeful. And yes, I see this being most useful against a 3 gen situation.
Even if it’s endgame, being broken is still super dangerous, especially if the killer catches you in or near the basement. If they’re going to keep this aspect of the perk as is, then they need to buff it somehow.

We won't know anything until Monday at the soonest but probably not until day of.

That was my thought too, like how a Brand New Part works. It's the only way the broken the entire match will EVER be worth it.
