The state of Solo Queue today in one picture
Thanks Weaving Spiders.
Peak perk design.

Well thats the problem. You're not on Freddy! Silly Person bleeding on the ground...
Edit: Cant wait to get home and experience this peak dbd experience!

New perk so a lot of peopme are trying it. Ive found though its far better to just have one person do it. Yes, it takes 2 minutes, but it allows the other 3 to still work on gens or distract the Killer. Unless everyone has the Invocation, better to just stay out of the basement
2 -
It was quite obvious that was going to happen for at least the first couple of days. I'm not gonna even try to go into solo q for a good week. Let the territorial imperative and invocation shenanigans die down.
8 -
Ah well, I like to play survivor. But this...
Peak SoloQ experience, for sure.
Yeah. The Unknown's voice line in the picture perfectly expresses my feelings.
3 -
This will be common the first week. Everyone will wanna test the new mechanic. Give it a week max and people will be over it
0 -
Funnily enough I've yet to see Territorial Imperative. And I expected to see a teammate waste their time with the Invocation, but all three?
Thats a little overkill.
0 -
Misread, ignore me.
Only 1 survivor has to run it to start the Invocation, and the rest can join in without it.0 -
Damn they really added my fear of not being invited to the party everyone else is at. Peak horror.
11 -
They did send me an invite but unfortunately, my friend, I was too busy trying to dodge grenades from evil Dwight over there.
My teammates are all in the basement, but I am in severe need of assistance.
0 -
none really? Well i been running it on pig and boy the amount people running to the basement is scary.
Yeah survivors are starving for anything new to do but gens. I don't necessarily blame them for throwing the game by sitting in basement.
0 -
Always some evil guy who has to ruin the fun for everyone
2 -
Well, I've played against many people trying to get Adept Unknown, some random Legions here and there, but no Territorial user yet.
I guess the perk isn't threatening enough to warrant a hard counter. But yeah, I can understand players want to test the new mechanic.
But please remember the one survivor left to deal with the killer :(
1 -
Yep, that is the Unknown speaking. Fitting, isn't it?
And I gotta say, this Adept is difficult to do. You're essentially playing perkless if the basement never comes into play.
0 -
Help me over here, please.
They added voiceline for Sable???
0 -
Haha, only wish they had, my friend.
That is actually the Unknown speaking. But it is fitting for the situation, I'd say.
0 -
yeah…. This perk is still not good
you are throwing the game if you use this if you ask me
5 -
Yeah I can see that lol tbf to them, you haven't been down very long. Hopefully someone came and picked you up?
0 -
I agree completely.
Even if you have a whole build around it, it causes far more harm than good to your team.
Nope, straight to the hook.
Needless to say, I did not escape that match. No one did :(
0 -
You read it right. The more survivors join the faster it goes, even if they don't have the perk equipped.
0 -
I misread what GeneralV was saying. He was talking about 3 survivors joining in on the invocation in general. Whether they had the perk or not doesn't really matter, they all sat in the basement while he was slugged.
2 -
they all sat in the basement while he was slugged.
And hooked, might I add, my friend.
None of them left that basement until the Invocation was done, but then it was already too late.
0 -
Wow, your solo q survivors actually DO things? Mine just hide in bushes and lockers.
3 -
Oh I’ve been using Territorial today, and lemme tell you, the value is there!
As a side note and a bit of a heads-up to anyone attempting to weave those arachnids, you can be grabbed as though you were on a gen. I’ve done it myself! 😏 (Hint, try NOT to take the position with your back to the entrance as that’s the easiest grab.)
0 -
Not surprised 😩 I feel like it's a bit of a catch 22 with that perk. I havent had anyone use it in my games yet, but if I saw someone down there I'd be warring with myself over 'do I just ignore it and let them waste 2 minutes, or do I hurry over and help so that they're back in the game faster?'

goofy ahh jake (I was the reason we all died)
1 -
she does have voice lines in the menu if you wait long enough, but haven't heard anything in-game

People: Solo queue is unplayable
Survivors:
Except there's 20 different ways for something this inefficient to happen.
0 -
I think it is better to just ignore them. Doing gens instead of the invocation is better in the long run.
Yep! But this one is quite special because of how long it takes. And how useless it is.
Three teammates with Self-Care are better than this.
3 -
Oh it's nice you are the one who downed, just imagine if killers managed to get to those three survivors...

That Coldwind game 🤣 a tale in 3 pictures
1 -
BHVR knew what they were doing when they released these perks. Killers wanted slowdown and ‘something else’ for survivors to do. Well, here you are.
1 -
I feel this pain. I had a Sable sat in the basement by herself doing that at five gens while this Blight was tunneling a team mate, and myself and the other player were trying to do gens.
Solo queue might have reached new depths of hell. Honestly that's impressive considering how awful it already was before.
4 -
Im not a good player but play long enough to understand a match flow.
The perk is nothing different than 1 survivor "tunneled out" themselves at the beginning of the game. Its a 3v1 game.
3 -
That Coldwind game is so painful! That is the SoloQ's new reality, at least for a few more days.

The solo queue experience will always be awful because the devs want it to be. They'd seemingly rather gaslight and blame their player base than attempt to improve their game. "We always monitor the difference between survivor groups (SWF and solo), and our current stance is that lack of information is not the crux of the problem, but rather that friends work together by nature and solo survivors don't (as much). -Mike"
The HUD still lacks crucial information showing progress on healing/totems/hexes/doors/boons/killer-based objectives. Why are solo players punished by not knowing if their teammates are breaking a dull totem, a hex totem, or lighting a boon? Why can't players tell what boon has been lit until they enter the radius? Different colors could certainly solve these problems.
Having players be unable to see perks in the lobby leads to numerous issues with the game and specific activation events on certain perks. Why can't players inspect perks on their teammates like on Twitch during the lobby? If someone used a troll build, why shouldn't they be avoided? They're wasting everyone's time.
Beyond these issues, there are others. Knockout shouldn't exist as it impacts the solo queue severely compared to doing nothing against SWF. Matchmaking is hit or miss to the point you could AFK, and it'd make no difference with the result.
