am i the only one who has noticed an absolute surge in hackers?
when i play killer almost every game i play, its people giving themselves endurance, mtf, or fast heals. i just played against a clown and he over mindgamed every loop, he hit every bottle exactly on me, he then just teleported to where i was healing (no undetectable perks) and i got the heartbeat as if i was in chase. he kept over mindgaming and missed a few hits at a tile, he stood still and i was removed from the game and i got a 30 minute penalty for that. bhvr's anti cheat system just doesnt work, and neither does their report system(unless you're a huge content creator that streams it live). i just wanted to know if anyone else was noticing things like this too

I'm personally taking a break because of how bad it has become. If you continue to play, please do use the report system, Mr. Cote was interviewed yesterday and urged people to continue to use it as it does help them gather information.

Are you sure its hackers and you aren't just missing perks or something?

In fact, the contamination of the game by cheats is so severe that it seems that there are an increasing number of cases in which applications are not processed even if they are submitted with video evidence. Devs don't like it, but if it's Steam, it would be wiser to apply on Steam. That seems like a more honest response.

I had my first game where literally every player was a blatant hacker (teleporting, flying around, access to all perks, make themselves invulnerable, etc).
They all did it for a TikTok video as one of the players had "TikTok" in their name so I googled them and found countless videos of them hacking. It's wild that people are doing stuff like this to make money revenue from this game, are able to make it to level 100, and still aren't banned.

If you're referring to Prestige 100 it's just another hack to unlock the P100, they didn't earn it.

I had a game yesterday on Survivor where we only gave up two hooks total. We completely outplayed the Killer. I was opening the exit gates and then the match abruptly ended. So naturally I thought that the Killer DC’d right? Well in the end game results it showed that it was the Killer who disconnected as well as ME!
I didn’t get any bloodpoints and my little icon had the disconnect icon even though I didn’t dc at all. At this point I don’t even know if the Killer legitimately disconnected or not, but we both missed out on Bp as if we both did.
This has happened before and I’m worried that I’m going to get a DC penalty. I haven’t even purchased the new chapter yet because I’m so worried about it.
What’s worse is that I pride myself on never disconnecting no matter the circumstances. It’s just so sad that this is happening.

This is the first dlc I've not purchased because of it. I'm missing the whole new chapter 😕

Ran into 4 cheaters yesterday. Definitely more than usual.

That thing where it shows both you and the killer DC'd has been in the game for years now. It was inconsistent for me whether I'd get a penalty or not, but most times I did not.
When it happened while I was in a group, they'd inform me I left but the match continued, so the killer remained. That tells me it was a visual mess up showing both of us DC'd.
