Audio Settings

I think it would be really helpful for the Dead By Daylight team to change how the existing audio tab works in the settings.

My suggested change is to simply seperate the "Main Volume" slider into sound effects, chase music, and voice lines.

It would be nice to not have my music interrupted by the chase themes. The only way around that is to mute all the game audio.

Thank you Behavior for making a cool game. May these changes come quickly, should they be implemented.

i think that wont happen cause the way i understood this is that the chase music is so loud by intention so while in chase you have a harder time listening to sound cues.

in your particular case it would not matter cause you listen to musik anyway but im sure most people would lower the chase musik to hear the sound cues of the game better wich is not intendet by bhvr

^ This. BHVR uses the loud chase music to balance the game.

There was recently another thread about this (and many more before it, because 99% of players want to be able to save their hearing from the future tinnitus that awaits us all from this blaring klaxonic chase music), and this was my answer there:

I just wish you could decide to have default chase music so you don't have to listen to those horrendous sounds called chase musics... Like seriously we have like 7 or so that are all a 2 second loop of washing machine sounds...

And other than that an option to disable voice lines would also be nice, just because they tend to get old after some time...

Combine chase music with the occasional sound occlusion on certain maps and i go from being muffled and underwater to blaringly loud. There has to be a better way for all of us suffering with early onset hearing loss from things like wildly varying volumes of explosion sfx/loud music etc. in games.
