Burnt out by the game!

I started feeling like I’m burnt out by this game couple days ago. I got over a thousand hours in the past year and I spent a good amount of money, own all dlcs and a good bunch of cosmetics. (I’m not kidding, I went overboard and prob spent at least 1k between battle pass rift, characters, skins etc).

So I feel bad for the fact this game stresses me so much I feel burnt out. Whenever I get on, I do one or two matches and want to quit and it’s been like this for the past week. Should I just take a break?

I feel like I’m getting out against sweats, the only matches I do either me or my teammates get tunneled and often the rest slugged.

I wish there was a way to make it less stressing, by having voice chat or disabling mmr.

What can I do?

Do what the devs said, go play Civilization. They obviously don't have any plans to make the game any less stressful.

I recommend a break! It's okay to stop for a bit and come back later. I often play DBD in ~6 month intervals, coming back when there is new or interesting content or I feel like I miss it. I get to stay in the loop since a lot of the times, DBD content is more fun to watch than play :D

Just take a break bro. You'll be surprised how much even just a week break will improve your enjoyment of the game.

Take a break. Everyone does it when they get burnt out, no biggie

yeah i go through that phase like every so often but usually only on one role at a time. When I'm not feeling solo q i just play killer. When I'm not feeling killer i play only when my friends are online in a swf. If u completely burnt out than u should have a back up game to go to.

Taking a break is pretty normal. I really enjoy the game, but that doesn't mean there aren't weeks every now and then where I don't touch it.

If you think having voice chat would make it less stressful, there are reddit and discord places to find groups.

I wish someone would make a private server of pre 6.1 DBD I'd play the hell out of that honestly.

That exists, but it looks like it takes quite a bit to setup so I'm not sure its worth it.

I'm feeling like I need to take a very long break myself. The side of the game that I most enjoy playing (Survivor) has been pretty miserable recently.

My impression is that catering to the Killer side of the game is BHVR's priority right now. They don't seem to want to do anything to upset Killer players and it's just so dispiriting to see seemingly endless buffs for Killers when I'm barely escaping my Survivor games as it is.

That's fine I guess. If I enjoyed playing Killer a little bit more I'd be pretty happy with the state of the game right now, but unfortunately I don't.

Same thing happens to me. I have taken a break from this game quite a few times including uninstalling. I have about 3.5K hours and sometimes I just play something else for a month or so and then come back and have fun again. I'm starting to feel the need to take a break again especially since my rift is done and this event has been very meh and then come back when the new tome comes out.

Yep, as everyone saying go ahead and take a break from the game for however long you need. No need to dedicate all your time in one game. Go and enjoy other games that you can play and/or take care of other things in your life. DBD will still be around.
