PTB's only come out for "major" updates. IE new killer, new survivor, new map.
BHVR usually gives info when an upcoming PTB is released, once they have new major content to show.
Currently (I think) there is no PTB release date yet.

next week as teasers and dev update are this week. Probably on Tuesday but could also come Wednesday or Thursday.

no, it’s a midchapter release without new content.
Major things are those mentioned in the dev update. possibly some minor adjustments as well and bug fixes

Mid-chapters also have PTBs, even though they don't necessarily contain new content. In the upcoming Mid-chapter patch there will be some major updates to The Twins for example, and these will first be put to the test.
We might get the PTB on April 2nd, but as always it's better to wait for an official announcement.0
