Killers that relied on tunneling are gonna have a reality check when the update goes live

With or without UB you deserve to lose if one person taking a hit wastes 2 minutes of your time

I don't think that's a very fair assessment. That's like saying survivors deserve to lose if all 4 are slugged, or a survivor deserves to lose if hard tunneled, or deserve to lose if they're stuck in a 3-gen scenario forever.
A problematic combination is still a problematic combination, and it doesn't fix what it's supposed to prevent in the first place. What are low MMR survivors supposed to do if they don't own DS?

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree then. You think killers should be able to play games, taking 90-120 seconds per health state taken, and still win (at least from my understanding of your argument); and I think that killers should probably need to be able to get injures and downs slightly faster than thatif they want to earn their chance at a win.

“3 people on gens is better than 1-2” is an incorrect formula.
The correct formula is “how fast are the survivors progressing their objectives IN COMPARISON to how fast the killer is progressing their objectives”?
Because if the survivors are delaying the killer enough, then 1-2 people on gens IS BETTER than 3 people on gens.

Great assumption of what I think killers should do there. I just think a combination artificially extending chase times using perks made to stop tunneling by forcing the killer to tunnel them is contradictory and shouldn't be possible.

That's just what I got from your statement that an aggressively used DS would extend a chase by 1.5-2 minutes; that 1 health state for that amount of time was an expected trade. Sorry if that's not what you meant.

The entire point is they are perks made to stop tunneling, not artificially increase chase times. That's why there's loops and plenty of pallets in maps already. The devs should be more focused on a system for tunneling that all players can benefit from, not those who own DS and are able to abuse combos like this. Heck, I win a lot of SoloQ games just bodyblocking 1 hit if the other survivors are skilled enough to loop.
Honestly I don't understand why people defend this combination when I'm making it clear that there's better ways to deal with it, like whoever has DS or OTR are forced to also have no collision so their anti-tunnel perks are SPECIFICALLY for anti-tunnel. And even then, that doesn't fix tunneling when DS is locked behind a licensed chapter or the shrine. At least with OTR it's free but both will still suffer from M2 killers or high mobility killers.

Survivors will never stop complaining about tunneling
