Auras,colors, and game accessibility

I wanted to bring up the topic of auras and their overlap of colors. Example being something like gens being red and aura reading perks being red. For accessibility of people with vision problems could we potentially change aura perks or gen auras to a different color so they're not the same? We have quite a few unused colors like blue, green, purple ect.

This could be base game or even just throw it in the game settings as an option. I know me and some other people with vision problems this would help a lot.

I don‘t know where I read it, but they mentioned it is intended like this, so that it is more difficult to spot someone‘s aura on a gen. With that being said, I agree with you, it would help a lot.

If they said that it would seem counterintuitive in design to me. Like let's take gearhead for example. It shows auras of the survivors hitting good skill checks "on gens". See what I mean? Like if it was BBQ, then yeah, it's designed to see their auras out and about so them going behind a gen would be intentional, but Gearhead is literally only when they're on the gen.

Also, isn't the skill supposed to be strategically hiding your aura? Like lockers or behind gens? Not, "we're gonna make the auras blend together so it's hard to see". One is skill to avoid, one is just annoying with no skill.

We have seen the trend of prioritizing accessibility as well, so that seems unnecessarily punishing to those with disabilities.

I know you already said you agreed, I guess I'm ranting lol
