Keyboard Issues on Linux

Hi Community! I'm wondering if anyone else is having issues with their keyboard on Linux right after starting an online match, regardless of playing as a killer or survivor after the latest patch.

I have been playing on Linux (openSUSE and debían) with no issues until this last patch.

Connecting a controller and enabling Steam Input is a workaround, but I would much rather play with a mouse and keyboard.

Steps Taken:

  • Removed all launch options on Steam.
  • Purged the compdata
  • Tested with Proton 8.3x - 9.1 and Experimental.
  • Uninstalled and Reinstalled game.
  • Verified Game Integrity.
  • Tested with openSUSE and LMDE.

Issue:

  • Right after queuing for an online match, you notice the keyboard not working in the chat box or for the entirety of the match.

Hoping someone in the community can provide a temporary fix and for the developers to take notice.
