Please let me hide my prestige
The new prestige system got released almost 2 years ago (July 2022)
We can safely say now, everyone who's playing DBD, has atleast one P100 character.
Still, if you're in the lobby with multiple P100s people constantly back out because they expect a comp clock callout seal 6 swat team. Or they change their whole loadout to stomp you into the ground. Your games won't be the same as if you have no P100s.
I don't want to constantly have to quickswitch into my favourite characters just because people behave differently. And even then after the game people will say "Yeah but you quickswitched" (into a P100, which is just a number)
MMR has been hidden to avoid bragging, Ranks are now Grades which are just there for rewards, but after 2 years we still have a prestige system. Which indicates how much bloodpoints you have spent on a certain character from July 2022 (6 years after the game's release). It's meaningless but still has an impact on the matches.
Could we please have an option to hide the prestige? I don't care about my prestige but I feel like I can't play my favourite survivor characters anymore because of this.

They said Months ago or maybe a year ago that they are testing it to remove it from lobbys… but yeah we know how slow BHVR is so dont wait that, it will happen soon.

I really hope so. I'd love to be able to play all survivors without having to constantly worry

Let's replace it with MMR? They really do need their own version of a bronze, silver, gold, plat ect system to represent your MMR grade and to have a goal to strive for. Realistically based on the old grade system would be a way better way to score this. Doing it by kills is just silly and wouldn't/doesn't make sense.

You will still get dodged with it gone. We know this because that was the way it was for years prior to the prestige update.

If SMBB worked correctly everyone in the lobby should be the same making that pointless.

Yes you are right dodging lobbies will still happen but atleast it will decrease a bit

Maybe in several years you might get the option to hide it just like it will take years to get Perks shown above survivors in the lobby

Yeah even DBD mobile has that and the feature makes so much sense. Don't know why that's not in the game yet.

everyone has a 100 prestige character? My highest is Claudette at like 38.

You shouldnt even see the other team until you get into the game. The second lobby with all 4 players getting ready is pointless. When you 'ready up' with the play button you should be ready.

People will lobby shop for much less than p100. P100 doesn’t mean anything, and most people know that now. I RARELY get dodged.

I play regularly and I think my highest prestige is 9 after getting p3 on every character, so the idea that everyone has a p100 is kinda silly. Still okay with hiding it, but do remember that your perspective is not the only one.

When playing with my friends, all P100, we can get dodged up to 10 times in a row. I'm not even over exaggerating. Never happens when we quickswitch

So you would say it's pointless that nearly every other game with MMR shows this as well? Does it just not make sense on all them as well? A lot of them do it for it being pointless.
You can have people in "similar" mmr ranges while still having it work. Hence a League game for example that has gold and silver ranks in the match, but their mmr works.

If they're not going to remove it from lobbies globally, I'd absolutely love to see an option to hide your prestige from other players like you mentioned. Maybe even have three options, "Don't hide", "Hide in lobby" and "Hide everywhere". Hide everywhere would hide it from others both in lobby and post game screen, while "Hide in lobby" would only hide it from others in lobby. But of course it wouldn't hide it in the character select so you could still see your prestiges for yourself. That would be great.
Or we could just get rid of lobbies altogether because all they do is waste time, let killers check profile and lobby dodge, incentivize last second swaps, ruin matchmaking, and cause dodging and backfill issues.

I think if they were to do this they should only show them in post game lobby. This would only make lobby dodging worse in my opinion, something that already screws with matchmaking enough as is.

As someone with 4000+ hours in this game I do wish that survivor prestige would be hidden. Not because I would benefit, I don't have any prestige 100 survivors since I don't really care about survivor items and just level new ones to prestige 3.
I want it so I don't feel the urge to back out whenever I see multiple 100s. It's common in OCE that I will even recognize them most of the time, but if the scores were hidden it removes a temptation to look for an 'easier' game.

Im fine with option to hide but mamy players want to show it like me. I want to show I have P100 character. It would be wrong to take away that option.

As a killer main I won't dodge 4 p100s. I will play. I like a challenge in my games.If I wanted to play a game where I win all the time i would play Big Riggs. Or Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
The nature of a game is you win some you lose some. Just play. There will always be someone better. Do the best you can. Learn from mistakes and move on.
Remember, win and lose with dignity.

I mean it would still show in the score screen, just not the lobby. You don't know the Prestige of the killer you are about to face, why does the killer get to know yours?
