Maybe I should use lithe…
so I was doing a killer daily where I had to m2 as Nemmie. Had a match on Mothers dwelling where all the survivors had lithe and mastered the W key. Gens flew so quick before I could get 1 survivor to lose a health state. The pre-running to max effectiveness and then lithing across the map before I could even get into chase was so incredibly frustrating. And at most, there was one duo. What am I supposed to do with that?
Anyway, I plan to try this strategy out on survivor tomorrow as it’s super effective. I honestly had no idea.

That playstyle kinda killed Dredge for me.

As a Nemesis main (even if I play him less and less these days… a little buff, BHVR?) and survivor player I could say that yes, that strat is the number 1 enemy of killers without chase power nowadays. I don't know how many times I forced or was forced to drop chase thanks to Lithe. I can even argue that it needs some balancing.
Until then, Mindbreaker is your friend as killer. It won't guarantee that they can't use it all the time, but it will help when you find a survivor in a gen even if they start pre-running.

If you want to be a really sweaty survivor you can run Lithe and Balanced Landing, or Balanced and DH with Vigil… killers do not expect you to have two exhaustion perks and will not wait out DH, at least not the first time.
FYI: this isn't my usual build lol… just to be clear

Not a ton you can do on a killer without the ability to the close the gap. If every survivor in the lobby is doing that, you're going to have to just commit and try to snowball off the first hook. Not going to win the long game with an M1 killer against truly optimal players. It's all relative though, so it's hard to say what happened without seeing gameplay.
The good news is that most players barely react to the TR, let alone pre-run. And matchmaking usually includes at least one survivor who doesn't have their monitor turned on even if the other 3 are pre-running gods. This is usually why my teammates are dead while I haven't been hooked. I position well and pre-run, so the killer doesn't bother with me. Other teammates apparently don't have their volume up and get hit before they even leave the gen.

I mean…you're saying you couldn't injure 1 survivor before gens 'flew'? Not sure what flew means here, 1, 2 or 3 gens?
even if all 4 run lithe and pre-run (big if here, also a big if that all players play optimally), sure it's going to take you longer to catch up but eventually you'll catch up and it's unlikely most average players will walk during chase to get their exhaustion perk back so it's just a regular chase at this point. If you decided to abandon a chase before it started each time then that's just you not playing optimally and hoping you catch someone while they're exhausted before you commit; at some point you have to commit to someone, which, it's probably best at the start of match you just commit to the guy who you know is now exhausted.
lithe isn't going to make you good at pathing, looping, etc so it sounds like there was a bit of being outplayed by the survivors here and outplaying yourself.

I was outplayed by my daily. I needed to get max infection. If I just m1, I wouldn’t have lost 2 gens before someone was injured. And if the map wasn’t a large map. Having played this strat this morning, there’s no out playing this is a killer commits to the chase if you know the direction the killer is coming from , it’s a large open map and you have the heart symbol active. 2 of them lost 3 gens before I was even injured.

Well, you said it yourself. When you don't have any chase power and someone good at pathing, looping, etc., just go flying through a window and it would take at least 10 seconds just to catch up with them, not counting the time invested to that point and that by then they will be in yet another loop, it is a problem. Multiply that by 4 and it is a really big problem, as catching anybody would mean wasting a huge amount of time. And yes, gens would get done fast unless you drop chase and try to pressure gens, which would only mean starting the process all over again with another survivor.
There is a reason it is the 3º most used perk by survivors right now, and it's not surprising that the 4 most used perks are literally one of the best chase builds you can have.

right but how often is anyone facing a 4 man with this perk where they pre-run every time and absolutely juice you? Not that I would even consider this a perk that would be disruptive in a 4man vs perks like OTR, DS, DH, etc..
seems like you're viewing this in a vacuum where everything is hopelessly against you but unfortunately that's not the typical match. The top 4 perks or 'best chase build' means nothing if you actually suck at chase or the game in general. At best you bought yourself an extra few seconds but went down shortly because you have no idea what to do afterwards.
I'm not downplaying it as a strong perk but it certainly isn't defining the match outcome.

Not gonna lie, you probably would've completed that daily if you played the game normally, swapping between M1's and M2's; but, being honest, Lithe is a pretty good perk for players to use, so I highly recommend it.
Though, it does get negged other perks like Mindbreaker and Blood Favor, so take that with a grain of salt.0 -
I’m definitely going to incorporate the perk into my future builds.
