Is giant oni supposed to be able to hit you over a pallet?
I dropped a pallet to slow him down and started to run away then he hit me over the pallet then broke it. Is this a mechanic or a bug?

Happened to me too in my last match…. -_-. i just layed there shaking my head on the ground. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a bug with the hitbox seeing as he is as big as a mountain and can easily swing over it when looking down.

I mean it isn't necessarily a bug with his hitbox, but it IS his hitbox. He is freakin' huge so yes his hitbox is bigger too.
Let me tell you a little secret. This event is a silly two-day event for April Fool's Day. It is not and was never intended to be taken seriously, and it's unlikely much time was taken to balance it. It's HIGHLY killer sided and they never say it isn't in the tweets, in fact they outright tell you that it is killer sided.1 -
I was just surprised. If he is supposed to be able to, then so be it. Also, I didn't find it to be killer-sided. It actually seemed really balanced with most of the matches that I was in a 2K/2 escape situation.

Weirdly I did escape lot more than in normal mode. Yes chases are killer sided but that's why you have to play stealth and try to not been seen.

Actually, if my memory serves me right, the mode was essentially one of the new mode types they had in that one survey they did several months ago and I believe it even said in the general description that the killer would be giant and the survivors would be tiny.

Yes, it was but they still decided to do it as an April Fool's because of how silly it is… so that's why it only lasted two days instead of a full week like Lights Out did.

I was genuinely surprised but I felt the same way. I wish the Survivor queue was better because I was actually really enjoying Survivor
