Killer username needs blocked
I really think in order to prevent survivors from spectating and ratting out their team to the killer, the killer's name should be hidden like their perks until the game is over. I run altruistic based perks and do everything that I can to help while being solo and STILL people are doing this. We can't change that there are crappy people, but we can change their access to the killer during the game. PLEASE change this. I'm so sick of this.

This. High prestige players experience a lot of lobby dodge or they're often hard targeted by the killer for...idk, ego reasons?

It is against game rules for survivors and killers to team up against other survivors and if you have proof they are doing it (which sounds like you do?) then report them!
I have literally never seen this happening though don’t doubt that in the odd case it does happen and don’t see why it shouldn’t be treated like perks - though yeah additionally, killers shouldn’t see survs names until that point as well.
also while at it, let players see the killers ping! This should have been added with dedicated servers0 -
Killers can play with anonymous mode on to hide their name. I usually due this whenever I play killer, because since OCE is such a small region, if a SWF that doesn't like how I played recognises my name, they will sandbag or troll me if I matchmake as surv and they are in my lobby.
And before anyone claims otherwise, yes this does happen.It happens enough that I have taken measures against it. OCE is so ridiculously small compared to NA/EU servers, I see the same people regularly, albeit its a bit wider now that crossplay exists. And yes, I have literally been told in chat and PSN messages that they chose to bodyblock/troll me because they don't like that I beat them as a killer.

also here: record and report with proof. This is griefing and a bannable offense. Dont know how much they count dms outside of the game as evidence but if the same players do troll you in multiple matches then that’s already proof enough afaik

Unfortunately, this happened a couple years ago, before crossplay and the anonymous mode was introduced, and when I played on PS4. I feel lucky that I have not had this happen again, nowadays I play with a VPN (to my own country, to hide my IP) and almost exclusively use anonymous mode as killer, so I hope that is all I need to do now.

Those of us on Xbox cannot use their Anonymous Mode.

Console can't do anonymous mode. They removed it from console. It was never intended to be added to console

The PlayStations all can use it, and so can those on Switch. It's just Xbox that cannot.
