Do you seriously have to manually use power tokens as Bubba?
I just got this killer and, correct me if I'm wrong, but do you actually have to press M2 each time you want to use another token? Not only it means you lose out on duration of your sweep (to be safe), but if you press to use another token too late the animation cancels- it's very frustrating.
Surely you should be able to hold M2 to keep using tokens automatically, one after the other, when available??

I think you can use his iri addon if you don’t wanna manually use the tokens

They just need to get rid of the drawback imo. Like for most of his addons. Its a good new bubba addon but it does ruin your value with the slowdown.

yeah the -2% penalty could get removed and it would be a neat addon
I don’t get what is it with most drawbacks to his addons
He also has a purple addon that gives him an extra token But it slows him down and disgustingly increases the charge time

It’s a good thing that you have to manually use the tokens because if not, you’d either be stuck in a long sweep after a quick down or stuck with a super long cooldown for 3 stacks when you may have only wanted to use one. The more you play as him the more intuitive using his sweeps become and you won’t be wasting time or distance. You get 6 sweeps with one charge so just keep an internal clock and extend on the 6th sweep and you won’t lose any distance you could have needed.
It’s a feature that adds skill expression to him which is never a bad thing.

Would you rather be stuck using all of them?

Yes but that means -2% decreased speed so not worth it.

I want to be able to automatically use the next power token if needed, while having control on how many tokens I'm using. That add on is awful haha, gives you no control on the number of tokens used and has huge downsides
I don't quite get your point on the long sweep after a quick down. I'm saying I want control on how many tokens used (as he has now), but ALSO holding M2 to automatically use the next token. You can still let go of M2 if you want to cancel after using one token. Thanks for the 6 sweeps things and you are right about the skill expression, but that should not be the sole determinant of whether a mechanic is in the game. Bubba already has skill expression (going tight around corners without tantrum, knowing the max distance from which you can use power, how to not get stunned by pallet when using power etc.). Right now this just seems extremely clunky and unnecessary to me, and could do with a change
No, refer to the quotes above

fair point

I get you, that would be a nice quality of life change for sure. For some reason though, I enjoy having to manually extend the sweeps but that’s more than likely just because I’ve gotten so used to it. Just something that requires a little more thought which I find enjoyable.

Yeah I think it would be just better to use all of them automatically pressing m2 whole time. You have to play lot of bubba to get good with his chainsaw. But I think his biggest problem is the huge tantrum time it's way too long cooldown.

I mean Bubba isn't exactly a super difficult killer to play, they need to add some kind of skill expression to him that isn't just "don't bump".

I would not mind if using another token would extent chainsaw by max amount, not reset currect swipe. But it seems its here to make his play more skillfull, better players just knows his swipes (this was my first thing to learn playing him), and know best moment just before swipe ends to extend power to the max.

LF's power is "easy" sure, if you just use it to backrev in the open. But it does have a lot nuances to it that give it a good amount of depth.
A lot of people really don't get how far Leatherface can down you if you have 3 charges, the extra speed you get while charging means you might be better using your sweeps rather than going for an m1 on an injured person at times, and some safe tiles become unsafe with how fast you move.
I won't get into it right now since it's 6am for me, but LF does have a skill ceiling quite higher than most people think he does. He's "easy" to play, hard to master.

He might have a lot more to him than what first appears, but he still needs a skill floor. Timing the dash extension and "don't bump" are basically his entire skill floor, and removing either of those would make him way too easy.

just practice bubba on a custom game with double power recharge time
use his roar along with his chainsaw sound as a measure of time, so you could maximize his charges
bubba chainsaw default: roar - roar - roar - roar (use power right at beginning) - roar - roar -roar (power at end + half) - roar, etc..
yellow chili - roar - roar - roar - roar (end + half) - roar - roar - roar - roar (end + half) - roar, etc..
purple chili - roar roar - roar - roar - roar (beginning) - roar - roar - roar - roar (beginning) - roar, etc..
personally i use yellow chili or purple chili, and these two are the easiest since it follows a steady cadence with his roar.
i never use double chili but still will be easy to figure out in custom match,

You may want control how many to uses but you should also want to control when.
Look, Bubba is a new killer for you. Think you would be better off learning the character before critiquing the kit.

that would remove his entire skill-floor and skill-cieling.

That iri addon SUCKS. It's an absolute joke that it's an iri addon. I never use it, and I never see anyone else use it. The slowdown makes it useless.

OK why don't you show us all how it's done?

It kind of is part of his skill ceiling to use the charges to its maximum consistently.

Yeah I made a thread regarding his tantrums being far too long, as Bubba is already not the strongest killer and the tantrums will punish less experienced players far more than skilled Bubba enjoyers.
But to my surprise there are people who seem to think this is perfectly fine… because Bubba OP, I guess?

I want the tantrum to stay because that's how I taunt people
