I can't believe that you didn't revert the unhook change
It removes so much play and strategy all to solve something that happens 1/100 matches.

By the looks of dev update this change stays the same, this "BM" will happen to you once in like 500 games if ever… On the other hand it affects normal gameplay on survivor a lot, this is most garbage and unnecessary change ever, revert it please!

can't wait to get grabbed off unhook by a nurse, or sniped by a death slinger, or yoinked by hag, or get hit by a huntress' hatchet because i can't cancel the unhook and dodge

I completely forgot about this change but I agree. Completely unnecessary survivor nerf that makes it much harder to outplay the killer in certain unhooking scenarios and makes survivor behavior around the hook far too predictable. Please don’t go through with this change, the effect this has on gameplay is not worth fixing the very rare griefing scenario it’s meant to address.

I literally never seen someone complaining about this and in 4k hrs it happened to me like… once or maybe twice. Yet devs thinks it's good for survivors, this is just dumb.

Hook grabs got patched out, they can't happen anymore.

Hey all, this change will not be going live as it was in the PTB, the Dev Update gives an overview it doesn't cover everything. We'll be looking into other solutions rather than locking the survivor into the animation.

That's nice to hear, thank you. There was nice solution if the devs really want to fix it (just lock surv in the animation after 4-5 attempts of the unhook to prevent BM)

So. 99% unhook takes a hit and stop unhook. its no fair for survivor . Add a little more speed to remove from hook while killer facecamp or proxy camp.
