I'm honestly excited for the blight changes
I used to play a lot of blight back in 2021 and 2022 but quit because they kept adding maps (like borgo for example) where every single object and wall has no collision at all. Even on things like shack and jungle gyms ill rush straight at it and do nothing fancy and just slide. It happens so often that I'll lose chases or good opportunities to hit people because his power just wont work sometimes
I just find it very inconsistent and frustrating on almost every map, Eyrie has the worst of both worlds where you'll collide with invisible walls and branches, while also sliding off of entire walls. I just want more consistency with his power is all which hopefully this update fixes.

you’re stoked to play a nerfed killer?

Agreed, I'm looking forward to playing the new Blight big time. Bump logic has always been fun to take advantage of to get hits, and with the new collision he'll be way more consistent. I'll gladly trade the hugtech for better bump logic.
I will miss the scoot slide though.

I'm sure a lot of people are excited to play Blight after the changes. He is still going to be a strong killer, so I'm not sure why people shouldn't be excited. His power should be more consistent and that's a good thing. Hug tech was never intended and should have been fixed years ago.

It is just that the variety of how to potentially play him got limited in the sense of bump logic or sliding. I think that is rather sad that some tiles cannot be played anymore unless the survivor really messes up. And especially because the collision makes you bump way too easily, getting completely rid of sliding is just a bad move.

Not everything is about viability

I'm excited to play a functional killer where their power doesn't bug out half the time and slide off of an entire main building.

I mean I don't know, it was functional in the sense of people were able to figure out how and where you can collide and where not. So he was functional before, he is just more beginner friendly now, but has less depth, which is kind of sad.
