What if BT applied to you as well?
You don't really see BT all that much anymore. It's great that it's not necessary, but what if we buffed it a little?
What if, as well as applying its effects to people you unhook, you'd get the effects when you were unhooked as well? It'd give you some protection while still mainly being an altruistic perk.
What do you think?

I don’t view BT as an altruistic perk. I see it more as “Anti tunnel” or give my teammate a chance to breathe while I heal them so they don’t go down.
It’s not really meant for altruism

I mean it is altruistic by definition, as in it only applies an effect that benefits others and not yourself.

that’s how old bt worked and it was horrible to play into

No, not like Old BT where you both get endurance. I'm saying that when you run BT, every time you get unhooked you'd get 20s of Endurance and Haste yourself.

Oh I remember that double effect and horrible white screen while BT was running back in the day

Right direction but what you meant to say was what if bt gave the user endurance for the same amount of time. Probably giving it to you upon entering within xo amount of meters of a hooked teamate and it should linger for like 3 secs after hooking them since you know.. you're putting yourself right in the killers eyesight all for someone who might not do the same for you because they have no way of healing themselves. Either way bt definitely needs a buff, I've been running it a lot lately and it's pretty one-sided

that would be a worse OTR

I mean, for yourself, yes. OTR doesn't benefit your teammates though, only you.

My bad I think we still have the issue of endgame that’s why OTR self disables. I think BT is still a great perk especially for endgame saves.

I'd prefer if BT gives me endurence when I unhook. I would reconsider running the perk.

sidenote though, it would be nice! I like the idea! I forgot to mention 😄

I've thought of suggesting exactly this a few times, and the one glaring flaw is this combined with Deliverance in end game would basically a free team escape.
BT is actually underrated I feel. It's not expected, and is one of the few forms of safety that doesn't get disabled in End Game. It comes in surprisingly clutch.
