Can we have a Viking Killer?

Not a killer that kills vikings specifically, but a killer that happens to be.. well.. a viking. We have a Knight and Samurai as killers, but why not a viking? We have to complete the Trifecta.

Joking aside, I think a killer that is a viking would be an excellent addition. Old Norse Mythology is steeped in mystery given most of what we know was passed down via oral tradition or the old sagas. There is so much opportunity to draw comparisons to the Entity's domain and Hel, for the unworthy. From cursed warriors, to Draugr, and more there is a whole mythos that can be corrupted and twisted by the Entity.

I'd be down for one, I'd bet vikings were pretty scary in themselves minus all the mythology. Could u imagine being chased by a pissed off, blood thirsty viking 3 oclock in the morning

I mean I got quite excited over the Knight announcement, but how he played was completely different to how I expected. And I guess most people are not happy with his design. So the question is not the visuals of a viking killer, because that can be done with a cosmetic as well but what his power would be... Something with godly powers would be neat guess like in the sense of having different modes for a certain time, similar to knights guards but not as seperate characters but just time limited buffs for the killer, no clue what they could potentially be, otherwise maybe just different weapons to use, a spear, a great axe a sword something along those lines.

Damn, I would love to see that. I don't even care what power is. Just give me some cool skins and new main is born.

Could be some sort of power cycle related to the more nefarious gods in Norse Mythology. So basically he gets a power for a limited time and then it swaps to another one and then a third one and then cycles back.

For example, he could get something like Loki's Trickery, where he can create mobile illusions of himself that will chase players, but won't actually cause damage. Then after that ends he could get a power like Fenrir's Hunger, where he can do some sort of charge attack, maybe something akin to the Demogorgon where he can charge and break pallets?

while i would like something like that i hope if they do such a killer they be respectfull about it espacially when they throw norse religion into it

True, it also depends if they go the route of old Asatru or Neo-Asatru. We do not have a lot of solid information on Old Asatru, especially given most texts and sagas related to those times were written quite a few centuries after.

That's true but I think everything related to still used religion should be approached carefully. Even if they go with more old norse stuff the new pagans aren't that far from that especially when it comes to the gods.

It's probably best to avoid religion at all. You can make a pretty good viking killer without bringing in religion into it if you focus more on the warrior aspects
