Upgradable killer
What if we had a killer that has the ability to upgrade any of its stats in a trial (lunge range, terror radius, cooldowns, etc) after a prerequisite has been filled for said upgrade?

What did you have in mind?
Myers already somewhat fulfills this condition, arguably nemesis as well.

I was thinking of a sort of “Freddy” power, or what Freddy should have been, but the condition is changed, idk. The upgrades would be your choice during the trial and would go from lunge range to extra Bp, mori’ng survivors, and everything else in between. Obviously the more powerful ones would require an higher price of some sort. Again this is just an idea but I’m glad that there is someone interested.

A Skill tree Killer: Everytime the killer hooks a survivor he gains a permanent stack for the remainder of the trial each stack he gains Can be slotted into the following (Breaking, Vaulting, lunge range, Movement speed, stun cooldown and attack cooldown) for 10% each stack each category can have a max 5 stacks

I came up with a killer concept for the Ubermorph from Deadspace. Survivors get plasma cutters and whatever body part they shoot off it gets a buff. For example a survivor shoots the Ubermorphs head off and for 10 seconds the screen is black but it has killer instinct on all survivors for that time. Then when its head regenerates it has wall hacks for 60 seconds. You can shoot its arm off to rescue a survivor but when it regenerates it gains 8 stacks of STBFL for 60 seconds and so on. Shoot its leg off and it crawls slow for 10 seconds but gets 30% haste for 20 seconds. It would definitely be the number one most enjoyed killer on both sides I’m sure.

I remember thinking this'd make a neat Nemesis change—Or Singularity, copying survivors biodata to improve his body(which is implied by his voicelines anyway).

You mean Michael Myers?

Before I begin, thank you for all the comments so far of your interest. This comment serves as a thanks while also going over everything that I am thinking about for this killer so far. I will keep looking at this post when I can.
Power: After some prerequisite is filled, you get a set number of skill points. Said skill points can be used to give you an upper hand in some way. The mediocre ones would cost less than the more powerful ones would cost more. The abilities are your choice based on your play style. When accessing the skill tree, survivors may be nerfed in some way to give the killer time to choose a skill.
Abilities possible from power (so far): attack range, attack cooldown, terror radius (can increase or decrease), kicking speed, vault speed, totem cleanse speed, tracking (scratch marks, blood pools, etc), aura reading, movement speed, stun cooldown, traps, status effects (for you and survivors), gen repair speed, healing speed, pickup speed, and the ability to mori survivors.
Lore: Someone found something … otherworldly, an aether. They can change and bend the rules to their heart’s content in this world … and more. But it requires something: blood, and the imagination. When she first discovered its mysteries it was bound to her. She wanted to discover more but she already cut herself too many times. She needed to find another way to make it work. “lilK. ciecfaSri.” The language was humming in her ear for a week now. She started getting nightmares, some with hooks, some with claws, all with blood. After a month she took priorities into her own hands. One night, she stayed up and took a walk, carrying a knife. She was about to stab herself when a voice rang out she froze. After a little thought she took a road she wouldn’t come back from because she was going down a broken one already. She killed him until he was bleeding like a fountain. The object she carried with her this whole time, the one she gave up on. Sucked all the blood. Its voice was now as clear and loud as day. “Kill.” “Sacrifice.” Her curiosity that she thought was once gone was reborn. It’s been years since the incident. The voices were louder than her thoughts, as she had more victims the world started to know her. News flew off the shelves about when and how she killed. Sometimes she killed in broad daylight and never got caught. She still had the nightmares from years ago but she was too far gone to care. Her body was starting to change because of the artifact. She discovered more since her first kill but she needed more. Whenever she felt up to it she listened to the different voices in the city around her, singled one out, and silenced it forever. People were starting to recognize her and the police tried to hunt her down. She got away every time. Was she lucky? She decided she was done with her hometown, she could barely try to listen for anyone before someone recognized her. Before packing her mind went through tall that has happened. She closed her eyes, hooks and claws all over again. She couldn’t open her eyes. The voices that were inside her for all these years were screaming in pain. She was covering her ears to the point where they bled, with the artifact glowing brightly. Then she awoke, breathing heavily. Her surroundings unfamiliar. It was quiet, silent even. Silent, the voices were gone, the ones she heard for the past couple of years were now gone, she could think again. She saw her reflection on a nearby puddle, she still looked human, but was still infected by the artifact. She noticed she had her things with her, including the aether. Then she heard a new voice, different from the once she was used to. It spoke only once in a whisper. “anoyk yeqkany’yehvay’k l’gnoo eydokl’x: sekall’o ammk’ix.” She then heard a shriek, dead leaves crushed under her feet. She smiled in anticipation.
Overall, this idea has a lot of potential and things can change with design or who the actual killer is. Again thank you so much for the comments so far, I will keep in touch when possible.

I think there would be two problems with the design.
1: What is process whereby the killer earns the points/upgrades? The obvious would be things like hooks, but that puts the killer into the 'win harder category'. Basically, if you're already beating the survivors, your success is going to turn the game into a one sided mess which isn't very fun.
I've seen people suggest a similar idea where the killer kicks gens to power up (leeches the power). That could potentially work, but I think it creates a different issue where it might be too easy for survivors to deny the killer their power.
2: I'm not sure it would be very fun to level up basekit mechanics. You've got lunge, lower terror radius, and base speed. Everything else you are unlocking things perks already do. Which could potentially be the idea where you just unlock a whole bunch of perks, but that would be a nightmare to balance.

This idea is cool sounding but I think it would have had to be something implemented in base game at launch. They could have had random cards similar to the offerings but you choose one that gives you certain buffs of sorts, but this is kinda moot due to perks and add ons plus the possibility of said card messing up a current game plan.

Michael Myer's is suppose to be an upgrade killer. Currently, he only upgrades his tr from 32→16 and very slight increase in vault speed. In tier 3, he loses terror radius upgrade for exposed & tier 3 bamboozle.

I am giving the idea of bit of open air for people to change, yes it would be like Michael and nemesis but the upgrades would be your choice that fits play style. As for the upgrades they are just all the ideas I threw at the top of my head, they can be changed, removed, and added in any way that better balances the game. I will say though that sometimes the game being unbalanced, in some ways, is a fresh of air and not everything will be perfect either if you’re focusing on balancing. I am still not sure about the prerequisite. I had an idea like oni where you can collect blood but then transport it to one out of 4 locations (or something like that). And when upgrading it would be designed where you can’t buy everything in the match. Think of it like an in-trial blood web. When you buy one thing, the upgrades that are opposite would be blocked off. Example: Get lunge range and you can’t get lunge cooldown. The ones that probably wouldn’t be blocked are blood point bonus, status effects for survivors or you (possibly for the mediocre ones), and the mori.
Hope this clarifies things a little

When they teased skull woman with the boxes I thought they'd do something like this. Where she could rummage for different tools to give different attributes.

I wish, skull merchant is a child who never received love

So as an update: I am thinking that the power should work like the void or Halloween event, where you deposit something into a portal to gain the skill points. This can also be a way, like the events, to offer counter play for the possibility to take away skill points
