Can Killers finally get a non-intrusive/aggressive killer instinct?
When the match is down to just 2 survivors, SOME like to play hide and seek, prolonging the match for no reason at all and wasting everyones time.
If killers could just get a killer instinct "ping" on survivors every ~2 minutes, that has the easist reset timer. Whether it be being in chase, being near a hooked survivor, being near a downed survivor. Literally anything that isn't walking or using power or checking lockers would be so much healthier for the game.
Also I don't like saying this because I hope that this is a good enough idea that people already agree. Survivors got basekit BT, and a "decent" anti-camp feature. Features to improve the survivor experience against toxic killers, Killers on the secondhand should get ways to deal with toxic survivors.

That should definitely happen, it should be a 10 serving as reveal even when in a locker. They could fix toxicity on survivor side in other ways too. Like creating a Hex Perk that blocks the gates for the survivors who teabag at it. If they did that bagging at gates would be gone overnight lol

Decent anti camp feature? more like anti camp failure because I have got 0 value out of it from the day its in the game. They may as well remove it cause 100% of the time I forgot its even there. Bt base that 95% of killers who are tunnelers easily wait it out (death slingers easily do this with no skill) or hard core tunneler will still go for a bt person even if it means to do 2 hits on them again. Remember the role is call survivor meaning do what it takes to stay alive. Not be the karen of walmart and alert people where you are at.

If killers could just get a killer instinct "ping" on survivors every ~2 minutes
- +10 seconds on each gen
- Disable some perks in endgame, because ???
- Entirely removed gen-tapping
- Basekit 2 old STBFL stacks
- Maps got smaller
- Tiles got weaker
- I'm not even starting about aura revealing perks or gen regression meta.
And now killer mains demand basekit (of course) killer instinct on 2 last survivors, because they can't find them?
Idk, equip Whispers maybe?

Fun fact: BHVR originally named the Survivor role as "Victims" instead of the modern day "Survivors" so that logic is still kinda meh.

Tbh I think Whispers should just be made base-kit and add a visual hud indicator similar to the visual terror radius indicator to aid hard of hearing players. That's just my opinion though

Yes, but why should that be a punishment to hard of hearing players. If you were to remove the killer's terror radius that becomes the same argument. Whispers is essentially the survivor's variant of the killer's terror radius so I think it'd be useful to many people and having a visual setting available for it would help the hard of hearing players tremendously.

OP clearly referring to games where at least one of the survivors does nothing but hide. And when a survivor does not want to get found and does not interact with anything, most notabley gens, they totally can make it impossible to get found.
Even worse with two ppl alive and both doing nothing, which would be a hostage situation.
I disagree with op about the ping only being inactive when near a downed or hooked survivor: It should generally be disabled when someone is hooked or downed, so the last survivor can choose to to let the other die to have a better chance of getting out. And it should be disabled when there's only one surv left.
But apart from that, the proposal is totally reasonable: When the remaining survivors (at least two) do nothing to proceed the game and just hide, they should be revealed to the killer in some way to prevent hostage situations. Since you explicitly mentioned whispers, that might actually be a quite decent solution, just give that effect to killers as base kit when they did not find a survivor for x minutes. And disable it in 1 on 1. Problem solved.

And, as I said, that's the same argument because Whispers is like 32 meters and the average killer terror radius is 32 meters. And, just as you say for your argument, the terror radius plays when you can't see nor hear the killer making the terror radius no different from Whispers.

Yes, but that is essentially what Whispers is. It's what I call the "reverse terror radius" where it's a survivor's variant of a terror radius that the killer can hear.

Some sound indicators, maybe, but not basekit "activate if survivor is just xxm around you".
Whispers works on lockers and prevents any hide-and-seek, I don't see reason why it should be basekit.0 -
Im not agreeing with op on this basekit killer instinct but, it does happen that sometimes they just hide and you can't find them.
Getting taken hostage for 15 minutes till the point i give up and dc is not really fun either1 -
I suggested this multiple times. When the killer has not been in chase for X amount of time (let's say 3 minutes to make it competitively unviable) one survivor with the least hook stages should be revealed via killer instinct until a chase starts.
It's way too long to wait for it in a normal match but it does help in these situations while also ignoring perks and lockers.

Ok well if killers want this give the last 2 survivors basekit unbreakable for the slugging for the 4k, 4 mins is precious to me and I could long be in another match. Slugging is holding me hostage when there is clearly a hook in front of you and I even kindly show you if by some reason you cant see the hook. Or at least give me a bleed out button option. You know its funny I like that identity v got this feature call surrender.
