Changing controls for XBOX controller
sooo i just started playing the game with my xbox controller as i wanted to try it out. i want to change some of the controls buuuut when i try doing that nothing happens. whats the catch ? is that normal? do i really have to walk as a survivor with freakin LB lol ?

are you trying to do it on PC or XBox itself?
There should be a tab ‚Input Binding‘ or something like that in the games settings menu where you can adjust it and it should work just fine for most mechanics! (There is some bugs related to it though eg with a certain binding a repelling crows against the Artist is not possible) some actions are bound together (eg repairing and healing will always be the same, same with vaulting and entering a locker)

I’m trying to do it on PC. Everytime I want for example change walking to RT instead of LB it switches to the killer controls as that’s the command for it but it says press any button to change it but it doesn’t do it. 🥴

that’s weird, and hopefully not a bug introduced with one of the recent bugfix patches..
I guess it won’t register any other button without a menu function either (just for testing/trouble shooting)?
