Survivors! Tell me about your last great chase

I want to hear the crazy stories of your last great chase, how long you looped the Killer, jukes, near misses, all of it.

I had a game yesterday where I ran a Wesker for 5 gens. He wasn't a new Wesker either (P42) but the chase wouldn't have been so long if he would have tried to M1 me. He insisted on getting me only with his bound, and Ive always made it my mission against Wesker to avoid getting infected so i was just as stubborn. There was nothing aggressive about it though, it was actually fun and good natured. There were a couple of times he flubbed a bound due to the environment and we both stopped and he just looked down and shook his head at himself. He caught and hooked me just after the last gen popped and didn't hang around or hit me on hook, I don't think he cared about winning, he just had his own personal goal. He just went after someone else and I was able to get unhooked and leave.

I went up against an Artist on Midwich once. I didn't loop them for a crazy amount of gens or anything, because unfortunately no gens were being worked on. But I kept her busy for a pretty substantial amount of time. So much so that at the end of the match, after killing the rest of the team, she gave me hatch. In the aftergame chat she told me she had to let me go because I looped so well. It really made my whole night. The first time anyone had ever complimented me like that. She said she was scared I was going to cost her the game, and that if my team actually tried, everyone probably would have made it, but because my team didn't do gens it didn't end up mattering how well I looped. Still, it was really nice. <3

    Several months ago…

I was in SoloQ, playing as Meg, late at night Vs. a Trapper.

An Ashley Williams player and I pumped out the last generator on Blood Lodge and it popped just as our second teammate was being sacrificed.

We look at the exit gate right behind us to see the exit gate switch has been trapped (add-ons were Bloody Coil & Secondary Coil)

I tried to undo the trap but the add-on made it impossible to do fast enough.

Trapper goes after me as Ashley hides near the gate.

I see Ashley on my HUD disarm it and become injured.

Trapper drops chase with me to reset the trap.

I decided to bait Trapper long enough so that Ashley could escape, fully expecting to die.

I begin spam vaulting a window to get his attention and then rapidly began T-bagging him.

He sticks with me this time…

I miraculously looped him a full intense lap around the entire map. He missed every swing and I landed two pallet stuns.

The gate is open and Ashley is waiting for me..

My confidence grows the longer this great chase continue…

The Trapper lands a hit on me finally..

There's one vault close to the open gate that seems impossible to make, but I make it as Trapper misses his second swing at the vault.

I am in such a state of high tension as Ashley and I, both injured, barely make it out with Trapper right on us.

The perks I had were Prove Thyself, Kindred, We'll Make It, and Resilience.

My heart was pounding the entire chase. I have never, ever had a chase that long and looping is a weakness of mine.

I will never forget that match. The rush was incredible!

This part made me laugh I’m sorry lol.

It’s honestly really heartwarming that this interaction was so memorable especially with the compliment. Thanks for sharing 😊

I love playing altruistic because it makes the matches last longer.

Rocked a Pinhead on The Game with my 2buddies. I held aggro with Screaming Steve flawlessly, just winning everything. Eventually he gives up to go for my 2 buddies, but they did just as well.

We did all 5 gens with 0 hooks. All 2 of us died because of a Noed play.

The 4th survivor? Bill had Sole Survivor Wake Up Distortion Left Behind and IMMEDIATELY picked up the Box at the start of the match and held it the entire game and never once touched a Generator.

Bill immediately opened a gate and just left us all to die. Bro, that's not how you play Bill! That's the opposite of how you're supposed to play Bill!

I ran spirit around the fun bus on Azarovs , kept jumping from tile to tile (not using WOO) and no joke mid chase I brainlessly ran into her and somehow I managed to dodge a hit…several times

It was my most fun chase and the worst part I wasn’t recording it 😭

Nurse started to tunnel me at 3 gens. So 3 gens chase ended up on hook in the center on the map and i was so glad, that other teammates (i was in duo) were smart and it ended up 4 man out. I will never get tired of repeating: mediocre Nurses are the most fun to go against.

I was in chase the whole match (he hooked me twice)... but I don't consider myself very good in that match, the killer was simply a beginner and made a lot of mistakes. also my teammates helped me when the gates were open by protecting me (so I escaped). obviously it was an exciting match and I remember it well

Demo on the newest Map for 4 Gens. He lost the game because he decided to tunnel, even tho he was running Perks like Grim Embrace and Pain Res.

In the end game chat he only said that he tunneled because he wanted a challenge because I had the most hours and that I was bad.

A satisfying one to watch until the end. 4-minuteish chase on Badham. Was enough of a chase to get all the gens done. Bonus points the killer basically throws the game and refuses to participate in normal gameplay once I go down. My solo Q team was the real MVP cause they understood the assignment to a T and..did we all get out? Well, watch the video and see.

    Stay safe out there, looperz.

    Storytime 🎶

The last great chase one of us had was against a Nurse at Garden of Joy. The nurse probably wasn't a veteran, but she was good as she downed the others rather quickly (one was our friend who's generally our equal/better) but then it got to me. She kept thinking she knew what I was going to do when the sad truth is idk what I'm going to do until I do it. She couldn't seem to hit me after the first time, many near misses but no gold as it even got to the point where she panic swung at a rock (idk if it's truly panic but I like to think so).

We were under the impression that we hurt her pride or she wanted to practice as she did not stop even as she had to have known that gens were getting done. And so the last 3 gens got done while I'm crying "HURRY UP". The doors were opened and as I was still being chased I had to keep running between the doors till she caught me at the last minute or so.

I kinda morbidly wish console could see end game chat, but I certainly do not envy the killers ability to try to profile peek like that

Vs Nurse on the cathedral level.

Had a few decent chases with her went down & hooked for the second time in end game opening the gate down near the horse.

With two teammates dead & the other gate up on the north side of the map by the shack I accepted my fate & certian death!

Nurse camped naturally (no issue with that here!) & I had kindred, yes I was going to die!

But wait! Steve, yes of all survivors Steve (always gets me killed does steve!) Popped open the gate by the shack ran down & un hooked me that crazy *******!

I ran that nurse all over the map for almost the entire end game, I didn’t want to just run & leave poor steve went down getting me off the hook. My heart beat faster & faster as I doubled back & faked jumps & directions over & over, i've over 14,000 hours in this game but I'm far from a god like looper its not my play style honestly never tried that hard to master it! I felt like a god this day though! Another fake & through the cathedral I went! There I could see the gate, a few line of sight blockers, a few more fakes ooh that was close nurse missed by an inch, I was through the open gate I was going to make it!

Inches, mere inches to go bang the nurse took me down! I was torn, I could have crawled out while she was on cool down but I didn't, my poor Meg just lie there awaiting her fate, this nurse had earned my respect & she got me, she was too late but she got me i'd give her the kill!

She picked me up took me to the middle of the gate area & dropped me, she motioned with a swing for me to leave, I respectfully shook no.

Then she nodded & approached me once again this time getting extra close & personal as ahe hit the mori!

Best chase I ever had skill wise, adrenaline wise & honestly a perfect ending I don't mind dying & I love a mori death!!!

In case anyone is wondering steve got the hatch inside the cathedral!

Nurse messaged me after the game & apologised for camping & the mori! Both quickly dismissed, we talked for a while after that, that was sometime last summer & one of those games along with my 4 man solo hatch escape that will live with me forever!!!
