Why are there challenges that are detrimental to the game?
Survivor Example: The ones that give you random perks as a survivor. It gave me No Mither 3 matches in a row in solo queue no less. Luckily I got windows of opportunity in the last one to have a chance of escape.
Killer sided one: The glyph challenges that gives you a random MASSIVE debuff like double stun time, double time to break a pallet or wall, double time to kick a gen.
These perks are completely antifun if you are playing as a Killer as they also entail that you have to hook a certain # of players with the debuff. When you get bad ones on a survivor, they make them a hindrance to the entire team.
This makes the game not fun for everyone involved so why are these kinds of challenges still being made?

Cause those are actual challenges and not just tasks to do.

So a solo que team should auto lose cause someone picked one of these challenges?

There is no auto lose unless you go brainless for the challenges.

You would be surprised how many solo que survivors can't function without Windows. This is why Ultimate Weapon was hated on so much for giving blindness.

detrimental to the game is an opinion. I personaly love the random one.
but the thing to keep in mind, is that no one is forcing anyone to do them. it's a personal choice to equip and how to go about these things.
You can put the chalenge of sacrificing everyone in the basement and go for it every single game. or just play normally and take the opportunity if the chance presents itself. or fully ignore it's existance.

"Absolutely no mither" and "looking out for number one" are the worst offenders imo. Those "challenges" are basically asking you to grief your teammates.
